I'm really itching to get those chess master tapes. Non-entity is UN REAL. Good comparison to Madvillainy with Angel. I definitely get that vibe.

    Yeah, the one from earlier this year seems less cohesive. Still awesome, but I may prefer the new one. Who knows? They're both killer.

    GAAAAAHHHHHHH. :wub: And it sounds as good as it looks. Also, I listened to the new チェスマスター on headphones a few times through today. Absolutely superb. Reminds me of a bleaker OPN at points. CAN'T WAIT to get that tape.

    NNF says they sold out of the stock they had, but they're going to keep taking orders and pressing more copies. So, I guess availability is one of the main differences.

    Yeah, around $70 shipped for the vinyl/cassettes bundle. Stared at the screen for about 10 min before I pulled the trigger. But this album is too good. And it will be more after this campaign; way more for the cassettes.

    Already cosigned this in the Cassette Collective section, but this thing is epic. Technically falls into the vaporwave genre, but it's one of the best ambient releases of the year. Honestly, it's one of my favorite albums of the year in any genre. Picked up the Not Not Fun cassette when it went up a few days ago and ordered the LP bundle with the exclusive tapes today. Dream Catalogue is one of my new favorite labels. A lot of other cool stuff to check out there. And it's all free/name your own price on bandcamp.
