start with oceanic or panopticon... both are amazing. even though a lot of people say they cant get into the new album you should check it out too anyway. its amazing, and just the natural progression of the band.

This is straight from the man himself... Aaron Turner's blogspot. "there is an ISIS 12xLP box set in the works to commemorate our 10 year anniversary. it will contain all our recordings on vinyl, minus the remixes and live releases. it will be split release between conspiracy records and robotic empire, with a total of 600 copies pressed. the artwork/design is in the works, and is mainly a collaboration between myself and hydra head employee james o'mara, with an additional contribution from aaron horkey. horkey's drawing will be featured on the front of the box and should look about like the jpeg posted above. this a variation of this piece is alo being used for a new isis t shirt and tour poster - hats off to mr. horkey for more fine work on his part.... the box will hoepfully be released in time for the upcoming ISIS shows in november, but we're currently running a bit behind as usual.... we shall see....."

Its in the middle of november... 15th or 22nd or somewhere between there. I think there will definatly be a dvd but seeing it live would be even better.

if youre looking for resale value on records ive seen some box sets on ebay sell for higher because they were opened... people like to see pictures of everything theyre getting and not just an empty box... case in point a sounds of science box set on ebay opened went for 300 bucks and a sealed one went for 200

i agree about it being completly un-necessary but i NEED it... I got the complete discography for free and that was pretty pricey so i figure to even things out i should get this... anybody else think they're gonna PayPerView their concert in london? it would be good business if they did. Maybe Suburban Home can get on that and present the concert event of the century

I was pleasently surprised at how cheap my tickets were as well. I'm not going to worry too much about the cost of the box set. It will be worth it for sure. Yeah i know what you mean... whoever is lucky enough to get one can basically sell it the next day on ebay for at least an extra hundred bucks... people were paying close to 100 for the violet ITAOT so im pretty sure itll be a good investment at the very least

i wouldnt be surprised if it was a little cheaper than everybody is thinking. if you think about the math it should be 3 times what the remix box set was because there is 3 times the vinyl so thats about 180. I think though that they will probably make it a little cheaper than that even. im just going off of their ticket prices for the 10th anniversary show. Its 20 bucks and theyre only playing 10 shows so i dont think the money is as important as saying thanks.

just get an iphone. then you can order right in class! thats a good idea, lucky for me though they dont have iphones in canada yet cause if they did the box set would cost about 700 instead of 200... i like where youre goin with this though

i bought a record off of ebay too and it was from suburban home not vinyl collective. there was a handbill saying vinyl collective would be starting up soon and the rest has been history. thanks virgil
