Well the whole lot sold out in under 18hrs which I find amazing. I thought this band was completely unkown which I guess is why I am pissed I missed a signed copy.

Is it confirmed that NN and SP will also get the vinyl treatment?

spewing I missed out on the signed copys, I think I underestimated the popularity of this band outside of Oz. Shipping to the UK was ridiculous so I just sent my copy to a mate back home.

It doesnt appear to be there. I sent them a sucky email asking to hold me a copy because I cannot wait up all night.

Is Cog really that popular that its crashed their site. I am going to be pissed off if I miss this.

I just sent messages to people on Discogs showing that they had the album in their collection as suggested by cedwhatev. i got lucky

I own an original press of Afterglow but need Sparkle & Fade. I reckon I can pay a bit more than the reissue price and find an original US press. Would like to hear some comments on the SQ of the reissue but nobody seems to have bought a copy yet. Maybe the price will be slashed if they are not moving....or is that wishful thinking?

Tu Plang and Unit are the best two albums to start with and go from there.

The Gurge had a reissue program in Australia back in 2013. Surprised they have received another one, looks like its being done in the US but I dont know that particular site.

Of course, you can only get as good sound as your source material.

I have not listened to this one yet, but I have heard the PJ Harvey from this series "TBYML" and it sounded FANTASTIC. Blew the original UK away as that was one of the WORST SOUNDING UK pressings in my collection.

I know the PJ album is supposed to be "low fi," but there was this annoying "scraping" sound from the center to the end of each side that I KNOW was not supposed to be there.

Makes me sad I got rid of the MM "Mechanical Animals" from the series. Glad I kept the Soundgarden.

Thats brilliant for you, a damn rare record and one to treasure. The Nirvana 320's are also worth hunting down. There is defintely a house sound with the 320 pressings.
