Hey friends, I just wanted to give everyone an update on some Jump Start Records releases that are nearly out of print/limited availability. Crucial Dudes "61 Penn" LP - We have less than ten copies of this release. That's between both the black and white variants. Yes, you may be able to stumble across a copy via Hot Topic or a few random copies floating around in record stores. As far as what is in our office, it's less than ten. I suggest you jump on this now or you'll have to wait for the second pressing. If you live in Europe or want to pay the higher shipping costs, Ass-Card Records should have copies avaliable. Noise By Numbers "Over Leavitt" LP(Opaque Yellow) - We are down to eight copies of this release. We received a few copies from our distributor and this is what's left. Ass-Card Records should have both colors as well. I don't see these sticking around for long. All Eyes West "S/T" LP(180gram Black vinyl/Green vinyl) - We have six copies left on 180 gram black vinyl. We have eight copies left on green vinyl. You might be able to score a copy of the green vinyl at Hot Topic or some record stores. You can get this record on clear vinyl from Bermuda Mohawk Productions. Again, if you want to pay the higher shipping costs, you should be able to get copies from Ass-Card Records in Germany. Aspiga/Hanalei Split - After we ship copies to Ass-Card Records, we'll have 25 copies of the half blue/half split colored variant. These went really fast. Don't sit on this. That's it for now. This new record rules. I've always been a casual MXPX fan but, this record is killer. I'm glad we're releasing the vinyl for it. I'm dreading the pre-order process. I'll be printing invoices for weeks!

I'll be posting all of the info on these releases shortly. Jump Start should be sending out a newsletter that spotlights Belvedere and these upcoming releases in the next day or so. We're excited to finally get these albums on vinyl. The test presses sound great!

Just an update. After we send copies to Ass-Card records, there will be 25 copies of the split colored vinyl left here at the Jump Start office. Don't wait on this one.

"As a college sophomore in 1995 studying broadcasting I did a video interview and feature piece about a local skateboarder for the final of one of my video editing courses. Before the widespread use of computers for video editing, I sat for hours editing VHS tape reels on old school editing stations. For this particular project I used a track called "Doing Time" from the MxPx ( http://www.mxpx.com/ )record Life in General, largely known for the band's breakout song "Chick Magnet". Keep in mind, this was all before Jump Start had even released our first record. Fast forward 17 years, and I'm really excited to announce that on April 3, 2012, Jump Start will be releasing the vinyl LP version of MxPx's ninth full length record entitled Plans Within Plans. The first pressing of 2000 will be pressed on black (1000), translucent gold (500), translucent blue(300), and randomly mixed colored vinyl (200). The translucent gold will be exclusive to our mailorder and distribution while the randomly mixed colored vinyl will be exclusive to the band. I literally approved the proofs with the printers today and the lacquers for the record are being cut as I type! STOKED. We're working on some awesome package deals for you guys and we can't wait to get this record into your hands. We're looking to launch our pre-order with limited items and awesome combo deals on March 5th! The CD and digital version of Plans Within Plans is being handled by the bands own imprint, Rock City Recordings, and as soon as we have details from them regarding their pre-sale we'll forward them along to you as well.

A lot of people have written us and asked us if we're going to do another pressing of 'Career Suicide' since the second pressing has been out of print here in the states since late 2010 and in Europe since early 2011. We got together with the guys from Ass Card Records and decided that one more pressing was in order, and what better than to do that pressing on heavyweight, 180 gram black vinyl! This will most likely be the final pressing of this record, so you won't want to miss out! We're going to be posting some pre-order information very soon that will include some special items, but needless to say we're really excited to have this record back in press as well as on 180 gram vinyl.
