Oof. $20 for 5 min of music? Unless it was to complete a variant collection (or came with a shirt), I don't think I could go for that.
Oh yeah there would be a shirt! I failed at making a lucid post. Yeah the last release was a cassette EP and shirt for $10(also free shipping), so I figured this would be a little fancier, but same concept.

I'm planning on going with Audio Geography's "hifi" 33RPM round, clear 7 inches.
Just curious if anyone would be interested/how much people would be willing to pre-order something like this for.
It's gonna be 2 songs, both 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, A side/B side. The packaging will be handmade, with each copy coming with it's own unique hand-painted cover. It'll be like a lil mini painting in a sleeve with like a 7 inch record in there too! I'll most likely be throwing in some patches and a zine or something like a poster with each order too.
Do ya'll think anyone would be interested in this for $20, free shipping? There will only be 10 made.
If I put this up for pre-order in the next week on my Bandcamp (instant download/stream of the songs, I'm estimating these would ship mid-April/early May, depending on how fast the records can be cut.
Here's my Bandcamp, in case ya'll just wanna take a listen regardless:

Ok enough of this semi-lucid post ...

Hey everyone,
How do folks feel about mini-runs (20-50) of lathe-cut records?
Are they worth buying/selling? Is the lower volume/quality a deal breaker for anyone?
I'm going to be doing a super short handmade run of a lathe-cut 7 " and I'm curious about ya'll's opinion.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, here's a minor update, in the interest of transparency:
I know on the Bandcamp I mentioned that "Side B" would only be on the actual cassette, but I think I'm gonna just through it up online as well. Is alright with everyone who already downloaded the the EP? I think you can just go back and re-download and get the 4th track? I'm now sure how Bandcamp works in that department.
I can toss up a download link of a rip of the cassette too if ya'll wanna, ya know, throw that around the internet.

Thank you all.
Ya'll are great I'm going to ship the 6 orders so far out on Mooooonday (if all goes according to plan FINGURES CROX).

True story. I'll pay him back eventually (if he ever has a show). Probably buy a shirt or something (if those ever exist).

Heyo thanks again everyone for your interest!
If you emailed me an address through Bandcamp, your tape is in the mail.
The remaining ten or so tapes I have left are gonna get handed out in person.
Speaking of which ... anyone know of or have any connections to any place viable to play a show in the New York Metropolitan area?

Thank you all for listening/being interested!
I'm not sure how many more I have to mail out, since the rest I'll probably hang on to to give out in person if I ever play a show soon. If you've emailed so far, it's in the mail.
This was just kind of an experiment to see if I could get some physical copies out in the world, at like no expense to anyone interested. I figured this would be the right place to find people that would get down with this kind of thing!

Lathe Cuts?

I was just gonna sell the record itself for $5 but I didn't know if people are generally into paying more to get extra weird stuff, or if it's more a pay for the music type of thing when it comes to something as short/small as a 7 inch (also at the reduced quality of a lathe cut).
