I've got a few Career Suicide records like this. The band just ordered X amount of test presses and did tour editions. I usually list them as tour pressings, not test pressings.

Quick question. There are labels that order extra test presses (usually with blank white labels) to send bands on tour with once in a while when the rest of the pressing won't be ready for a bit. So the consensus is that they're tour presses and not test presses?

I dunno, I've been a member since '07 and I don't see much difference in the posters. I probably read less than 5% of the posts, In the 5+ years I've been a member I still haven't reached 1000 posts, so my opinion is probably worth a grain of salt. The biggest difference I've found, is there are a lot less members that are interested in the same music as me.

What the board needs is a common enemy to rally around, like Ronniethebear or Virgil.

Just about anything released on Victory after about '01 sounds pretty terrible, no matter what format.

I'd love to see Black Train Jack again.

I could see them sitting on the Governor for the season, introducing a new villian, then bringing the Governor back right at the end. I don't see them doing two seasons in a row with the Governor as the main bad guy. 

I'll believe it tomorrow.

Has anyone heard of A Blood Red Sky? http://www.abloodredsky.com/  It's a film by Chad Calek the guy who did Paranormal State.  It looks like it may be hit or miss, but it's coming to my town and looks interesting so me and one of my friends are going to see it.

This movie is "literally mind-blowing." That's your clue the movie is a complete pile of shit.

Mine would be a test pressing copy of 'Cherry Beach' by Career Suicide from Dirtnap records. Quite a few were made and sold at two record release shows in Canada. I've only found a few people that had one. Never found one for sale or trade.

Anyone ever buy anything from an Alan Godlewicz?

I use one to keep my headphones and stuff in. But they're too small for LPs. Fits 10" nicely, though.

I got a few of my rare Government Warning records, and test pressings, from different members of the band. Also a couple Career Suicide seven inches from the drummer. 

I wonder what $hop Radio Ca$t includes with their LP that they needed to mark up the LP $4 over Epitaph?
