  1. Yeah, I got to see an acoustic show like a month before they announced the breakup. I was so happy I got to see them. I love both of the full-lengths. Are you excited about fun.? I'm really looking forward toward that album. And May 5th is the official release of the first single. Have you heard whether that album will be pressed on vinyl?
  2. Thanks for the help. That's a shame those are itunes only because the cover on the California one looks so cool! Is there any source for the B-Sides CD that was apparently given out with orders? I don't think they're still doing that, but I may call.
  3. Oh okay, yeah I'm going to grab the apeman single and DVD soon. The live stuff I was talking about are the two eps on here: http://nettwerk.com/productions/artistpage.jsp?artist_id=1194&mode=discog&mode2=cds ...they just aren't selling them. And I can't even find any other info except random torrents.
  4. Wow, did not know that. Mine got cancelled because they were delayed in pressing them, but I though they were 25. Sorry, my bad.
  5. do you just look for it on the interweb? or are you out into the record stores. thats probably your best bet. i've found my best buys at stores. I've looked at most record stores in a 50 mile radius of my area (not many). None of them have it. Also, I don't seem to have as cool of stores as a lot of people on here. The place that has cool/rare stuff usually knows and jacks up their prices. But yeah, I'm sure there are copies out there. I wish beatboy all the best and a lot of luck finding it.
  6. Not necessarily. Who's to say that you're a bigger fan than the seller who owns the record? It's a good record, it's popular, a lot of people want it, but not a lot of people are willing to give it up because they are a fan of the record just like the people who are looking for it. Hence the reason people are only giving it up if the price can compensate for the loss of a badass record. Yeah, I guess my point was that being a huge fan doesn't often translate to someone selling it at a fairer price. I mean if that were the case 100 dollars would be about 4 times the original price, so that's a lot of profit...but that's not usually the case if someone can get twice that or more.
  7. they are pressing all of magnetic fields albums one by one, and i'm pretty sure i will be next. I'd love to pick that up. Do you think Merge will do a presale with it cheaper? I know it's limited to 3000 copies, but 100 dollars for 6 10"s seems a bit ridiculous.
  8. Bump for more info on what The Format has released in physical format... I know Snails, Dog Problems I have. Then I know of Interventions and Lullabies. But what about B-Sides/Live stuff?
  9. Yeah, this is not a fun record to look for. I can tell you from personal experience. The other problem is people that have it don't care if you're a huge fan, they want to turn a huge profit. That's the name of the game.
  10. Hey, I'm looking for Death Cabs album in good condition. PM me offers if you've got it. Also, I have Dog Problems and Snails on CD. But I didn't know about all the Live, B-Side, stuff The Format put out...so pm with those too. Thanks!
  11. Sure, that works too. I just figured if someone had records they didn't want and didn't want to pay 400 dollars for an ipod...silly me. :
  12. To anyone that has used caiman before, any way to search what they are selling? Are all of their records usually this much of a deal or...? I tried searching on the site, but it just shows amazon and other store prices.
  13. Also looking for stuff by: Bon Iver, The Format, Straylight Run, The Decemberists, Kevin Devine, LCD Soundsystem, Cut Copy, Frightened Rabbit, Shout Out Louds, MGMT, Architecture in Helsinki, Broken Social Scene, Band of Horses, Postal Service, Ben Gibbard, Stars, Feist, Sun Kil Moon, Modest Mouse. Looking for 12"s only. When making offers, please remember this is about 3 months old and cost 399 dollars new.
  14. Nope, the internet requires wifi. But most apps/games and music don't require any internet. Either way, there is no cost. Feel free to make trade/cash/combo offers. I did pay 399 dollars for this, so that list is intended to be a combination of some of those or cash. PM realistic offers to me.
  15. Hi, I don't use the games/apps/screen/features enough to justify keeping this. It is used, however not abused at all (has been in rubber case entire time). This is the 2nd generation as well so it has the volume rocker on the side. I'm just putting this out there to see if I can get some of my big wants. These are them: Brand New-Your Favorite Weapon Brand New-Deja Entendu Death Cab for Cutie-We Have the Facts, and We're Voting Yes Death Cab for Cutie-Something About Airplanes Death Cab for Cutie-Transatlanticism Death Cab for Cutie-The Photo Album Shout Out Louds-Howl Howl Gaff Gaff Jack's Mannequin-Everything in Transit Modest Mouse-Good News For People Who Love Bad News The Killers-Hot Fuss I also have all packaging and everything. Feel free to make cash/other offers, but these are records that would avoid having to have a huge list.
  16. Prices adjusted. Looking to trade at least one Dark Was the Night, Black Kids 10", Flight of Conchords 7", Something Corporate, or mewithoutyou. Set of Sub-Pop, not really interested in trade b/c I may just hold onto those. Here's the kind of bands and music I'm looking for in trades. If you have other releases by these bands or similar stuff, PM me. 12": Arcade Fire-Funeral Arcade Fire-Neon Bible Architecture in Helsinki-Fingers Crossed Ben Folds-Live Ben Folds-Whatever and Ever Amen Bon Iver-For Emma, Forever Ago Bon Iver-Blood Bank EP Brand New-Deja Entendu Death Cab for Cutie-Something About Airplains Death Cab for Cutie-We Have the Facts Death Cab for Cutie-Transatlanticism Death Cab for Cutie-The Photo Album Denison Witmer-Carry the Weight (Test Press) Denison Witmer-Philadelphia Songs Elliott Smith-Either/Or Elliott Smith-Figure 8 (Red/Blue) Elliott Smith-X/O (White) Elliott Smith-From a Basement on the Hill Feist-Let it Die Frightened Rabbit-Midnight Organ Fight Jack's Mannequin-Everything in Transit Kevin Devine-Put Your Ghost to Rest Kevin Devine-Split the Country LCD Soundsystem-LCD Soundsystem LCD Soundsystem-Sound of Silver Modest Mouse-Good News For People Who Love Bad News Modest Mouse-Lonesome Crowded West Modest Mouse-Moon and Antartica MuteMath-MuteMath Regina Spektor-Soviet Kitsch Regina Spektor-Begin to Hope Shout Out Louds-Our Ill Wills Shout Out Louds-Howl Howl Gaff Gaff Spoon-Series of Sneaks Stars-Set Yourself on Fire Sufjan Stevens-Seven Swans Sunset Rubdown-Random Spirit Lover The Decemberists-The Crane Wife The Decemberists-Picaresque The Format-Dog Problems The Postal Service-Give Up (Clear) The Shins-Oh Inverted World (Omnibus or Blue only) The Shins-Chutes too Narrow (Pink) The Twilight Sad-All Albums I know some of these aren't hard to get, but I could work out a trade too.
