  4. Not the threadjack, but could anyone post lists of indie rock stickers they have? (Death Cab for Cutie, The Format, Decemberists, Stars, BSS, The National, Modest Mouse, Postal Service, Architecture in Helsinki, Cut//Copy, Feist, No Age, Shout Out Louds, Vampire Weekend, Frightened Rabbit, Arcade Fire, Spoon, Dr. Dog, Sufjan, The Shins, Of Montreal, Ben Folds, The Futureheads, Grizzly Bear, etc.)
  5. Wish I was in this club, I love the Black Lips. I could never pay that much though.
  6. Actually, it's a member of this board. She was the first VCCOTM. BUT don't talk bad about her!! People seem to get real upset when you do. : I wasn't talking bad about him/her/whatever...I just meant they have stuff that always seems to sell for ridiculous amounts of money to the most desperate fans that either don't look anywhere else or can't find it. I guarantee the 125 Deja Entendu sells in the next couple months. It's nothing against her, I just mean that there are huge profits being made on things that common sense would say should sell for farrr less.
  7. Exactly. They do have a great selection and all, but when coupons are posted everywhere on and off the site and always there in some form...they aren't just being nice to everyone. Either way, the prices are hardly absurd.
  8. It's on a lot of download sites. It's not worth more than 10 dollars, period. The ebay stuff is ridiculous and that guy is an expert seller at grabbing stuff that someone will eventually get desperate enough to buy for a ridiculous price.
  9. very jealous of this. very jealous I got one on ebay in the store section a month ago for 9.99 lightly used. It looked like it had never been played and sleeve is so nice. It's definitely a great record by a great band.
  10. Black Kids-Wizard of Ahhhs The National-Cherry Tree
  11. I think the best bet is Ebay now. I honestly don't think you're going to find it in a store unless you are the luckiest person in the world. It's worth a lot and people with put them on Ebay if they have them, unless they are completely clueless.
  12. Nice, that was very well written. And thanks again for the mp3s. The Time Bomb single looks pretty sweet. I'm going to buy that, snails, and the DVD from their online store today or tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for the black one as well.
  13. Do you have a link to the deadformat thread that is selling the eps. Also, does anyone know about the Time Bomb 7" on black? I saw that on the pressing info picture on deadformat.
  14. Definitely!!! Also, I'm looking for that article from their manager...if I find it I'll post it.
  15. He just needs to wait till summer when kids will get out of school and can't find any summer work...or wait till september before student loan checks go through and rent is due. Yeah, I'd say getting really lucky with a local store or something would be best. 100 dollars is a lot of cash, but no one seems to think so for this record. I'm watching ebay.
  16. Danielson 7" ships set. I never listened to them after I got them, and just really am not into the band except when I saw them live.
  17. Yeah, I saw somewhere that a lot of people said that was their least favorite song they played live so that's good. Also, apparently at least a couple of songs were intended for the next Format album. I missed them in Baltimore this past weekend, I was really pissed. My friend went and said they were doing presales for the album...but I think that was just cds. I got into them a little late, but why exactly did they break up? PS: Sorry for making this The Format Fact Thread...
  18. Yeah, that was 2007 too. I'll have to track that one down. I just snagged Dog Problems on vinyl for 50 though, so I have hope.
