  1. I shouldn't have.. but I went for that colored TLA. I just can't not buy their shit.

Also, first class is/was 1.90 for me vs 3.50 for media.. and if I can get posters with first class.. whats the point of doing media?

I was wondering the same, but without the posters (i.e., is media mail faster/better than first class?)

Oh, and I bought TLA on black and colored... any guesses on how long til these sell-out?

  2. Whats the tracklist for the 7 inch?

all i know is that this is one of the tracks is ""spit shining shit" which was supposed to be on the new falcon record. don't know if it has the same title anymore though. there used to be a video on youtube of it but its not up anymore

according to interpunk (who just posted their presale), its:

    1 - Spit Shining Shit

2 - The Slowest Drink At The Saddest Bar On The Snowiest Day...

3 - Them Angels Been Talkin'

4 - The Redness In The West

  3. What's everyone's problem with the way pre-orders are set up? I think every time a record I wanted was being pressed/repressed, I saw it on Interpunk at least a month before it was released, with VC adding it a few weeks later, so it doesn't seem excessive to me at all. Furthermore, every time this has happened, I've emailed VC to see if they were going to get the album, and they said they were waiting until they had more info to post it on the site, which seems pretty responsible to me.

  4. just to let people know, Nerd Alert Records just reopened their store and they "appear" to have the colored Bad Religion records, as well as at least some of the NOFX records (not sure if they have them all because I don't know how many there were)...

    at $16 a piece...

(note: I haven't tried ordering them, but since they specifically list them on the home page, I'd imagine they have some in stock)

  5. Just got an email newsletter about this from asianman...

"Here are the LP restocks for all you vinyl enthusiasts: Lawrence Arms Cocktails and Dreams (repress of 500, Chicago Flag colors), Broadways Broken Star (repress of 100 on black), Ben Weasel These Ones Are Bitter (repress of 100 on black)."

I know the Lawrence Arms one was already mentioned before, I don't know about the Ben Weasel one, but this is the first I've heard of the Broadways being repressed...

(as of the time I'm writing this, the newsletter wasn't online yet)

  6. as someone who just started collecting vinyl late last year who's been waiting a year to be able to claim that he had a copy of each alkaline trio album on vinyl, I'd be fine if cobraside decided to repress Crimson as a 4 LP, 180 gram, 45 rpm boxset with 40 variants as long I could get one...

(someone at Cobraside's probably thinking that's not such a bad idea...)

maybe I shouldn't have said that...
