I just went back to my local store--they had a stack of that Coheed record.
-
Anyone spot the Suicidal Tendencies LP in the wild? My store had a spot for it, but I wasn't sure if it sold out or never arrived.
-
I bought it to trade if I couldn't grab something I wanted. Ended up selling it at cost to a VCer. They were grossly overpriced: $11.99.
I may go back today and see if there are more. My store had a bunch, which is odd for a record that is /250.
-
Did anyone see this out in the wild? Can't find anywhere selling it with their leftovers.
I was able to snag one (and a second for a fellow VCer).
-
Nice! Grabbed the Clash LP. The only thing I wasn't able to snag today.
-
Grabbed an extra California. Want the Clash. PM me and we can work a deal.
-
Good deal!
Are you putting out the Drakulas LP when it's done? That 7" is my favorite of the year (and their live show is untouchable).
-
So now every LP (and Chesterfield King) will have been repressed except the only one that is actually hard to find. Rad.
It's not really about them being hard to find--the originals were always pricy.

LPs ship mid-October.
Anyone get a DL code for Night Birds?
-
Zip lock bags are my go to. Just make sure you get the ones that don't have a sort of pleat in the bottom. They're much cheaper than buying them from bags unlimited.
-
They pressed so many of those and kept it in print for so long that there are likely slight variations.

I got green at a store yesterday. They had green and what I assume is black. $5 difference in price.
-
Oh, yeah, and New Wave is a terrific record. Someone dig up the old threads about it--we were having these same conversations.

Man, I bought Dear You the day it was released, and I hated it. I can't remember hating something more on first listen--and I adored pretty much all of Jawbreaker's previous output. Now, 20 years later (just shy by a week, it came out on Sept. 12, 1995), I absolutely love it. It's not their best musically, but the songwriting and the lyrics are so strong. It took me about 10 years to give Dear You a fair chance.

Sorry, said Vol. 4, meant 5.

What's the shirt look like?

Huh. Flood is putting this out? Cool!

Got this yesterday. Lame white vinyl but still pumped to own it.
Why is white vinyl lame? It's better than the clear Goner usually does.
-
Are they selling vinyl on tour?
I saw them Sunday night in Austin--no vinyl.

Yeah. I'll swing by after work tomorrow and grab one.
