Those early Guv 7"s and EPs were solid gold. New stuff is good, but doesn't compare. Ordered it anyway!

Got mine as well.

I like Daily Juice better than JuiceLand, but I think I'm in the minority.

EP: https://www.secretlystore.com/can-you-deal-bleached
After touring extensively worldwide and finding success with their hit single “Wednesday Night Melody”, Bleached is back with four new blazing tracks on their 'Can You Deal?' EP. Fueled by the experiences they’ve had as women in their calling for music, 'Can You Deal?' takes on the complexities of issues female musicians encounter in an industry dominated by men. With this fire in their bellies, they connected with Alex Newport (Bloc Party, Mars Volta) to produce the EP. With their singularly triumphant mix of sunny melodies, thrashing guitars and lyrics highlighting the darker sides of life, Bleached continues to demand your attention.

Anyone else unable to get the record out of the sleeve? It looks like the inner sleeve on mine got inserted sideways and it will not budge no matter how much I pull and pry. This is a first!
Yes. I really had to work on it to get it out of the sleeve. I think the inner sleeve was too large.

I got my replacement today. No issues. Took a couple of extra days, but it's all good.

Friends of Sound Records is located on south congress and tucked away in a cool back alley. Super local store since many people in Austin don't even know it's there. Waterloo is always great but if you want a unique place that not everyone checks out, Friends of Sound Records is the place to go. They also have a special bin you can ask for that will have rare bootleg vinyl. I've gotten lucky there a few times with rare items you would have a hard time finding anywhere else!
Friends of Sound! I always forget what that place is called. Neat little store. I've found some really cool gems in there over the years, but it's very hit or miss. If you want to dig through used records- it's great. The people there are friendly too.

These popping up in anyone's mailboxes yet?

They're sending a new one, so it's all good. I wish I had video of my reaction opening the box...it must've been hilarious.

Have you tried Kesos?
Drove by it a bunch of times, but never tried it. Worth it?

Also they give you chips before your meal and then say "the salsa is inside, it's self serve" and then you go inside and there's a sign next to it that says "Salsa $2.99"
WHO DOES THAT?! Hahaha. That's a bummer. My wife HATES Polvo's. I must have an affinity for it because it was the first place we got Tex-Mex when we moved here. You get a ton of food for short money.
-
For cheap Tex-Mex, I'm all Polvo's.
I'm also Torchy's over TacoDeli. However, Maria's has the best breakfast tacos, in my opinion.
Whoever mentioned Mighty Cone: YES! Mighty Cone is awesome.
Waterloo is much smaller than Amoeba in Hollywood, and not as much used stuff. It depends on what kind of shopping you're looking to do, but Waterloo is good for new, End of an Ear is better for used. Encore is a great, small shop; decent selection with lots of metal. I've never been to Breakaway.

I think the album is solid for an ATDI album in 2017. Their live show is almost as good as it was back in the day (I've caught them twice in the past three months, having last seen them in 2000) -- and the new songs are really strong live.
It may be a cash grab, but the folks at the shows were so stoked to see them that it made for great experiences both times. They had great energy.
