  1. ^^^ p.s. I wonder how many copies were "found".
  2. pm sent re: Converge - Axe To Fall 12" Coke Bottle Blue
  3. Solid blue probably. Fuck... opaque is solid. I hate that fucking word. If Rev has any left, they have clear blue... Crap, based on that I ordered another LP from DW, and now I have two coke bottle/clear blues. Ha, oh well. I guess that's the nature of the game. Looks like VC has some of the solid blue, but the "Checkout now" button isn't working for me. I'll figure something out. On the other hand, the new Doomriders album (which I also received today) is amazing!
  4. The concept of a complete label collection is neat for sure, especially for dedicated collectors (people into the thrill of collecting). Definitely seems appealing for compulsive completionists. But it at the same time seems a bit irrational, because surely you aren't going to like every release from a label. I had never heard of something like that until I saw the "Post a PIC Of Your Collection (Band or Label ONLY)" thread. Looking at my collection, the label I have the most records for is Hydra Head, and with that I only have 26 different releases, not including variants and CDs and the like. and then, most of those releases are between HH66612-50. I have a lot of catching up to do, ha! What Juan and circlingvultures mentioned, Deathwish and Robotic Empire, would be pretty tight collections, and a Southern Lord collection not too shabby either.
  5. Not true, this was posted before that one: http://cgi.ebay.com/CONVERGE-Axe-To-Fall-lp-BEER-BLUE-BLACK-wax-800-made_W0QQitemZ250533038486QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMusic_on_Vinyl?hash=item3a54eec996
  6. I have a European exclusive, and I'm looking for a tri-color. Anyone interested in a trade? or if you don't have the tri-color, I'm open to other offers/trades as well. PM me.
  7. Surprise! definitely got some play on my stereo back in the day.
  8. Hey, thanks for the heads up. Pre-ordered (and hopefully ordered a red OX as well)!
  9. Richmond, Virginia (rva). Did you order from amazon.de or .co.uk? It's the German shipping and Euro (as opposed to British shipping and pound) that got me I think, unless I missed a cheaper shipping option (could be because the webpage was in German).
  10. Probably less informative than matt.isr's info, I received my Amazon.de order yesterday which I placed on 11/07/09. Shipping was more than the record itself, and the currency conversion from euros is pretty bad. It was a "beer" color. There was an "Indigo" sticker on the back of the shrink wrap, which I'm guessing is the distributor.
  11. According to people in this thread and this one too, they started shipping pre-orders around Oct. 7th.
  12. Haha. Well, I tried to take a picture of all 3 hanging at first, but decided later to just lay them flat. They are currently just folded in a drawer (no wire hanger).
  13. Someone asked for more pictures? There were some shirt images on page 27, but not all 3 together. Here they are. Left is Hot Topic, middle is DW, and right is Epitaph. DW and Epitaph have the same back (which someone posted on page 27). Hot Topic does not have anything printed on the back, which is probably why the text "Converge" appears on the front. Larger image
  14. That's great. I ordered from Amazon.de over a week ago, and the shipping was a lot more. Too bad for me. On a related note, anyone want to trade a European for one of the tri-colors? In case someone gets 2 of them, or would rather have beer (the color, that is).
  15. These? They are just chilling. Haha! Not sure what you are going to stack your boxes on if you release those. So I guess you are waiting to sell whatever is in those boxes first. Heh. Seriously though, I can't wait!
  16. seconded Maybe "metal nerd" wasn't the right term. I was just trying to trash talk people being at the front during a band they aren't into. But I shouldn't be too judgmental. Converge has an opportunity to expose their style of music to new listening audience, and sure not everyone is going to like what they see, but kids who may not have otherwise come across Converge may be turned on to them.
  17. Hey, great pictures (and 5 variant haul), Juan. Sorry about your poster tube. I saw Converge on that tour last week. The new songs were great, the whole set list was pretty solid. One of the highlights of the evening was seeing some guy on the VIP balcony sporting a "Jesuit" t-shirt, standing right above Nate. High energy from the band and like a dozen or so people in the audience. One of my complaints was being 3-4 people from the front barrier, and being almost surrounded by metal nerds who were not into Converge, but who ran to the front for Mastodon and cartoon band.
  18. Found it while researching (and waiting for my pre-order) of the "Axe to Fall", Converge release. Been lurking for a couple weeks.
