jesus, there are 1264 copies left. who could have possibly predicted that there wouldn't have been enough demand to sell 2,500 copies of a $170 2LP?
Between this and the "press way too few copies on black as a 'limited edition,' then do a colored repress to make more $$ and piss off everyone who bought the first one" strategy with the first two album represses, Twisted has dropped the ball so hard on these. It's beyond tragic if this killed the Ineffable repress...

$174 shipped to the US with a little more than a month to go until Red Rocks. I too am going both nights, and while I love this album, that price is just insane this close to their final performance.
I never thought in a million years that I might pass on a repress of Nothing Lasts, but here I am considering it. Would it really have killed them to do a release more like the last two to keep the prices comparable? I'm not sure shiny embossing and slightly nicer materials are worth the premium...

I'm just hoping they won't do black vinyl followed by a colored vinyl repress like last time. Such a transparent cash grab, and pretty frustrating for those who bought the "limited" black only to see hundreds more copies on (imo) much cooler colored vinyl a month later...

I'm selling my original pressing of Tales if anyone's looking for a copy. Both the sleeve and the LPs have quite a bit of wear, and while there's surface noise/clicking/popping it's still a very playable copy. Not sure what it's worth with the repress but PM if interested!

How on earth do they justify asking 54 GBP for a 2LP with an 8 page hardcover book? Really? The total came out to around 75 GBP with shipping to the USA -- an absurd $110 USD. I almost couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it at that price. Dear god

Check out what arrived today! Apologies for the phone pic. The orange marbling doesn't really show up in the picture but it's more noticeable in pictures. Definitely a subtle "smoke" effect though.
I can't believe how freaking excited I am to have a copy of this record. WE NEED MORE REPRESSES BEGGARS

Looks like only 171 are currently available to order -- someone on Twisted's facebook page said it looked like there were only 200 when it first went up for sale. Wonder if that's actually correct? Seems like an awfully small limitation...

I cannot believe Simon/Twisted completely fucked American fans like this. This was an unannounced 2 am release here -- I woke up at 6:30am and both variants were already sold out. I've been waiting for a repress for years 😐
They've dropped the ball on every one of these represses. Maybe there's some chance of another pressing since it sold so well/fast, but if not, they've basically lost a fan.
