I pre-ordered from the shop in my town and despite telling me the 12" was on the way, they never got it! Luckily pre-ordered from another local shop and got it

 

Really nice package & the sleeve is so heavy! Dine Alone never release anything but the best product.

Beauty bundle arrived today! Really well put together package. Makes me wish there was a sleeve designed for the Woman 12". Going to give the Northern Blues 12" a spin after dinner.

Yeah I'd have loved a sleeve for the Woman 12". Actually contemplating getting one made.

Yeah got shipping notice from Newbury for their variant yday, and for my signed cd from Recordstore UK.

Unfortunately, seems the clear w/ smoke & beauty bundle aren't shipping until 16th in the UK.

Hoping to pick up the black from my local store late today.

There won't be a third bundle, just doing separate releases moving forward for the rest of the year!

As for those test pressings, come Xmas time, I may have to just sit on the site 24/7! Would love to pick up a C&C or AOF test!

@Justin - will this update have an effect on bundle 3 too? Is that still likely to 1. Be announced before the year's out? Or 2. Still happen at all?

I'm not bothered by the delays tbh. I know the products will be worth it and I've never had anything but awesome service from DA.

Bring Me Your Love was delayed about 6months in total, if I remember rightly?

I'm more concerned with when Bundle 3 will be announced, as we're already in October and still no word on it

Does anyone have this? If so how does it sound on the original UK or US clear vinyl?

I might have the chance to get a sealed mint copy, but I just wanted to check out if it actually sounds any good first!

I picked up a copy of Switcheroo myself yesterday for the Moneen signing. Copy I grabbed is definitely from the current pressing, has both a barcode and the DA10 year logo on the sleeve.

The reunion announcement came as no surprise. Just hope something good comes from it. Seeing as everyone except Steele is involved with other projects I don't see how Alexis will get 100% from any of the members. Show was awesome though!

 

That's weird. I guess a lot of people probably pre-ordered it along with AOF Live at Copps, or Are We really Happy, hence not hearing that people are receiving them?

I expect aof will get 100% and the side projects will suffer. I mean, I hope.

 

Dead Tired & Say Yes don't exactly do huge tours, so that won't be a problem. From what I've heard, Gallows is pretty much done, so that frees up Wade. The main sticking points will be City and Colour, the fact that George is now a fire fighter, and Wade's Edge show.

 

It wouldn't really surprise me if a new album has already been recorded, or at least written. Dallas finishes the UK/Euro tour at the end of Feb, so there could be some time after that if it hasn't been recorded?

 

I doubt we'll see a new album & tour until next summer though tbh.

I find it hilarious that they've reunited, before the album/dvd of their "final show" has been released.

 

That said, as others have said... I don't care, cause it still means an AOF live album/dvd and THEY'RE BACK!!!!!!!!

Anyone preorder the Switcharoo Series and receive it yet? I went to the Dine Alone trailer at Riot Fest yesterday and noticed they had Switcharoo for sale and they gave me one there instead. Still find it weird that they were selling them same price in trailer yet the pre order hadn't shipped yet...

Does your sleeve have a barcode on the back? If not, it's likely one of the overruns from the box set.

Got the Helicon Blue on black the other week and WOW, such a nice package!

Good news, the printer works great and it even automatically give me a 1" border along the sides so I will have less to cut (I think). The images came out a little pixelated but I dont think its any worse than the other sleeves I printed. I'll try and print up a full gatefold and see how it works. The paper i tested it on is just normal plan paper so its like the same as regular office paper. I think the only way I can get the Vellum in there to print on it is if I tape it to the roll, however that might cause a problem when it cuts the sheet since it does it automatically. I dont know if the razor is strong enough to cut something that thick. I also have to figure out the cost of the ink. If its $100 per cartridge and it takes 4 I'd be looking at $400 just in ink. And then I dont know how many I could print before running out of ink. I'll try to find out as soon as possible.

Not sure what changed since you talked to him, but Wade posted a short video on social media early this year (January maybe?) of a test press spinning on his turntable. Post said something to the effect of "Pagan Holiday. The record that almost didn't happen is happening!" Haven't heard anything since however.

Awesome! Gonna have to check that out later!

Pagan Holiday is gone unfortunately. Wade told me last year that the studio got flooded and lost the whole session. On top of that, Wade also lost his master disc moving house.

Shame, as I saw them twice when they toured the UK with Fucked Up and the new songs sounded great!

Seems like so long ago Bundle 2 was announced, and still no sign of number 3.

 

Kinda hoping there'll be nothing I want in it, so I can save some money, but I know there's no chance of that happening.

 

A pressing of Black Lungs' "Send Flowers" would be cool.
