well, i didn't know i had to ask for a refund for them charging me priority and shipping media.  when i ordered the 3 lp they didn't offer media.

also a lot let down that it didn't come with a download or cd.

Am I mistaken or did Jack White say the Angel etching artist has to etch each individual record? I thought that was said in the video.

I didn't know anyone else enjoyed NYC Ghosts enough to reissue it.  I happen to like it.

I have thought about this before.  Labels charge anywhere from $10-$18 to ship an LP to Canada, and anywhere from $6-$12 to ship a 7".  I wonder how much you would actually save.  $4-5 to ship an LP within the states, and what does a 7" cost?  $3?

 

Say you order 5 LPs and 5 7"s in Canada, that's on average I would say, $105 worth of shipping fees.  

In the states, it would be about $40 worth of shipping (I think).  So about a $65 difference.  

 

What would bulk shipping 5 LPs and 5 7"s from the US to Canada cost, $25?  

 

These are rough estimates, because some labels overcharge like crazy, but I guess it has potential to save you a good chunk of cash.

actually be careful with those numbers.  i help out a canadian from time to time.  since the price hike, USPS now makes you ship Priority if over like 4 pounds.  so I helped him out last Black RSD, his 4 records were over the cheap limit, his shipping was like 35 dollars (he didn't ask for help last RSD).

I had the 4 LP set and never listened to it, so I sold it but if I could score this for a really decent price I'll pick it up. Although for some reason, this album just sounds better while driving. 

i agree.  i think that a few albums work much better on cd/ipod than vinyl.  flipping a record every three or four songs can really mess up the flow.

finally got my Curtis lp, 7 inch, and night sun 7 inch.

and shipping was only 4 bucks for some reason.

my roommate is framing the three 7" that come with TOYPAJ, and he's doing the 7" separate from the sleeve, in two separate frames.

 

After his coupons it's costing him $250 ( from $371) and I'm just like, well, not sure.

just read an AV Club article where these guys were mentioned.  quickly picked up a second press copy.  i heard like thirty seconds of the first song and stopped to figure out how to buy it.
