  1. I'm not sure which color the Bars of Gold record is. I have both for my own collection, but this one's sealed. For Terrorhawk, there's either red or yellow.
  2. I have too many extras of some new records. Shipping is $3.50 flat. Still Sealed Nirvana - Bleach (Special Edition Reissue) $19 Gaslight Anthem - American Slang $10 Bars of Gold - Of Gold $10 Japandroids - Post Nothing $10 Bear Vs Shark - Terrorhawk $11 Others (used and/or opened) Drag the River - Esta Loco $6 Paint it Black - New Lexicon $10 Brendan Kelly/Joe M $8 (white) 7 Seconds - Walk Together $9 7 Seconds - Praise $9 Ergs - Thrash Compactor 7" $4
  3. While I do think that the last couple albums are pretty boring, they're all super nice and have a pretty respectable work ethic. While a few people probably complained that a venue was too small, a ridiculous amount of their fans would endlessly bitch about them playing big venues.
  4. Get 2 and it's PPD, otherwise shipping is $2.75 7 Seconds - Walk Together, Rock Together - $12 7 Seconds - Praise - $12 Limp Wrist - S/T - $12 Fake Problems - Viking Wizard Eyes Wizard Full of Lies - $4.25 World Inferno - Vox Inferne - $4.25
  5. Here's a video of them playing "Holy Ghost!" The show was pretty, pretty, prettttty good.
  6. On the Porchlight Records website I started posting what the title of this thread says. I hope to keep it up every day or so. www.porchlightrecords.com
  7. Sweet, thanks! I couldn't find much on it. I must not have been looking very hard.
  8. A friend just gave me a bunch of records and Superchunk "Here's to Shutting Up" was in there. Is it pretty hard to come by? I can't really find any information about it online.
  9. www.jerkmeeting.com I know this domain name will come in handy one day, so it had to be purchased.
  10. I tried to modify it but faaaacked. I faaacked up.
  11. I really can't stand this band, but Fang Island is opening for them this month. FAAAACK.
  12. I'm not bitching, just commenting. I have both the KD re-press and all the live HWM 7"s. So craaaaam it.
  13. I would totally sell mine for $30. I never listen to it. But $50 seems real unreasonable.
  14. Yeah I'm completely aware of the fact that it's a bad business practice for about 95% of businesses. But it has brought me new customers based solely on the Yelp page. Last week I got an email from some lady saying that she had never been in before but will now make a point to just because of the honesty and humor in my shit talking. Most people seem to think it's hilarious and see that all the other responses say how much they love the shop. Plus the publicity that I and the shop get in Seattle has been completely awesome. All the newspapers, blogs, weeklies and everything else are super supportive. I appreciate the input and realize that it's ALMOST always a bad business practice and most times doesn't do anything but hurt the business, but it's been completely opposite for me.
  15. haha it gives me sooo much joy antagonizing shitty customers. And it's a good way to weed out people I really don't want to deal with.
  16. I think a lot of people forget about it because of the neighborhood it's in. Belltown is the absolute worst for bros/bro fights all the time. That being said, I think more of the well-known bigger stores have started to carry more punk. Singles is still really awesome though.
  17. Yeah. My first year going up there. I'll be going up there as a junior. Majoring in some sort of Environmental Science. Awesome. I knew a lotta people there but most graduated last year or the year before. LOTS of Dave Matthews fans there. haha
  18. At Porchlight in Seattle. 8 PM Laura Stevenson and the Cans Cumulus Bryan John Appleby $5
