  1. I live in Lynnwood, but I will be in Bellingham for school in mid-September. Hope to make it down before I'm up there! Sweet, are you going to Western?
  2. Awesome. I'm there open to close almost every day of the week. So be sure to introduce yourself when ya stop by. Where abouts do you live?

  4. I have sealed copy that I'd be down to sell or trade.
  5. The Hendrix statue is still there, but it's now an art store. The shop that was there, Everyday, is now a few blocks away. Singles Going Steady is all punk/crust/metal/hardcore and it's down on 2nd and Bell. I can't believe I forgot about that one.
  6. Here is a list of shops including mine on Capitol Hill in Seattle. http://www.everydaymusic.com/ http://www.porchlightrecords.com http://www.wosound.com/

  8. Yeah it's not on either of the bands' respective labels, but it doesn't look Korean. I was trying to compare characters and couldn't find any that matched Korean. Here's a pic from my phone of the label on the record. http://twitpic.com/2blmhk
  9. I came across a couple old records on colored vinyl that I think are from Japan (pardon my ignorance though). Does anyone know anything about these? I googled the bejesus out of the thing and couldn't find any information. Any help would be appreciated. One is Simon and Garfunkel "Sounds of Silence" on Orange and the other is the Mamas and the Papas "Deliver" on Red. Thanks!

  12. I have either white or clear. Show me yerrrr list.
  13. This is one of my bands. It's quiet stuff with a bunch of people in different Seattle bands helping out. This is just the pre order and the records won't ship until early September. All copies will be on clear vinyl. Only 25 of these are being pressed. Order it here: porchlightrecords.bigcartel.com Listen here: www.myspace.com/prettyoldseattle
  14. YUP! And when people complain about No Idea releases being $13 bucks in a record store, it's nuts. Wholesale prices are practically the same as the $8 "public" prices, plus you pay about $1 shipping. So a record store selling a No Idea release for $13 is really only profiting $4 or $5 bucks. Most wholesale prices for LPs from other labels and distros are over $9 and sometimes plus shipping. And selling a 7" for $5 at a record store generally means you profit $1 or so. That's why a lot of places will have $6 7"s and things like that. Yes, some places have ridiculous markups, but most people need to me more informed before they go criticizing.
  15. http://tigersjaw.tumblr.com/ They slept in the lovely confines of Porchlight after the show. Probably a ridiculously uncomfortable sleep.
  16. The show was good. The shop gets reeeeal loud though. A ton of people left after Tigers Jaw played though.
