In Knocked Up one of the characters was wearing a Tom Waits shirt with the cover art from Rain Dogs on it. I got pretty excited over that, since that is my favorite Tom Waits record.

Somebody just sold a Los Feliz lot (blue, grey, and purple) recently and the whole deal sold for $45 IIRC. This guy won't get close to $75.

Hmm... the person who emailed me was Spencer and he said that two people submitted invalid credit card numbers, but he is still holding both of those black copies. One is for me, I dunno if you're the other person or if its someone else. Hopefully its you and they'll get in contact with you. I still haven't heard back from them after my initial response about 6 hours ago. I think they're just slow with email.

I was starting to lose faith becuase after a few emails I wasn't hearing anything from them. However, I got an email today with an explanation. Apparently I didn't submit the correct CC # and somehow I never got a notification that my payment didn't go through. Anyways, they're apparently still holding a black copy for me. I'm going to resubmit my order soon, so lets hope they follow through!

OK, my list is back up, so apparently this was just a temporary setback.

Ah, thats cool. I was just curious if you had access to "special" information, but I'm not gonna ask you to circulate that info if its not your place to do so. The cool thing about the fest is there is always a bunch of bands that are a staple there and you can pretty much count on them playing, and if you're into No Idea/ADD Records type bands, you're most likely going to love a bulk of the bands at the list. Most people know they're going before a lineup is ever announced, but the fact that they through in a few surprises is always nice. I can't wait to go, this will be my first Fest. I tried to make it out the last two years but I was too broke.

Dammit, my list is gone as well. Very annoying. However, I've traded, bought and sold quite a bit while recordnerd had been down, so I still would have had to go through all of the items in my collection to make sure the list stayed up to date. Guess I'm just going to have to start over. I'm really hoping Virgil is working on a site like this. I really like recordnerd because everything is nice and seperated and easy to read and the fact that it has specific fields for artist, album, format, label makes it easier too. I hope that if Virgil does his site it will have the seperate fields for artist, album, format, and label like recordnerd, but also add fields for color, pressing info, etc. rather than having to cram that info in the comments field.

Damn, guess I'm going to end up buying this one again and only end up with one copy...

I have no idea if it was ever pressed. If it was, I doubt its still in prent. I'd love love love a copy of this on vinyl, so if anyone has one they'd like to sell that would rule. Or, if Virgil wants to go ahead and press it himself... haha

I ordered the Gaslight Anthem "Sink or Swim" (black vinyl) well over a month ago and it has yet to arrive. I've emailed them a few times, but can't get a reply. I'm mainly pissed because I missed my shot at the limited vinyl run, but really I'd be happy if they'd just refund my money or send me one of the white/red copies. Anyone had any issues with these people? I don't know how to get through to them.

So I just found out a couple weeks back that this was actually pressed on vinyl. I lost out on one that popped up on ebay and sold for about $16 (I wasn't home when the bidding ended). Does anyone have one they'd like to sell/trade? Here's the pressing info. I'm interested in any of these. I finally got the last of the singles club today. I ordered two sets (one for a friend who didn't have a CC) and we wound up with two of the rarer pressings of the 5th 7", I also got some good rare ones of some earlier ones. Overall we were both really happy with the records we got.

Picked up the rarer pressings of the DTR and Tim Barry records. Very excited!

As long as things would be sold in real-time, I'm all for it. The main drawback would be paying for things that have already sold and being disappointed to find out they're gone.
