But it's a 10", only 2 tracks and different cover (probably black vinyl since it isn't mentioned otherwise).

Musically obviously not quite as good as Kyuss, but still some good desert rock tunes one it.

And yeah, they're also coming to my town. As someone who never got to see Kyuss live,

they are probably be the best Kyuss cover band you can hope for.

As someone earlier said, like clockwork will never beat the first 3 albums, but I've regularly been listening to the songs on likeclockwork.tv and the songs have grown on me. So I might as well shell out those extra 2.50 for the deluxe.

The style of the animations remind me actually very much of Metalocalypse, so I'm guessing/wondering if these have been made by titmouse as well.

Haven't listened to the full album yet, but I for one am looking forward to the tropical sounds.

They had a song with samba rhythms on each of their last albums and those were my favorite tracks.

It isn't really that difficult to build some scripts that will poll the site every second, check for certain keywords or changes and automate the order process. I'm pretty sure that's what those flippers are doing.

Hm, actually I originally ordered it together with a couple other things that are also still pending.

However after the cancelling and reordering, it's a separate order and I have to pay postage again...

Also, with the clear and green vinyl only available from German stores, producing their album there and playing the first gigs, it shows that Germany is really their main market.

I wasn't aware that this isn't aware on vinyl in the US.

Indeed only CDs at Omega merch (which they link from their Facebook as US webstore) or Amazon.com.

Amazon.ca offers it, but as import at import prices CDN$47.

Also only European merchants offering this in Discogs.

My guess, if there will be a US release, it will be the be on green vinyl.

i think the green variants are from flight13.de or greenhell.de. green hell would make more sense though.

Nah, I get their Newsletter and if they had a special version they would most certainly promo that.

If I remember right the green/pink version of "Tao.." also only showed up a around release day in a German web store.

Well, Melon Collie's artwork is iconic, but this "reimagined" cover is just adding clutter and makes it less recognizable as the classic album that it is.

And a "Vinyl unpacked" delivery option! I assume that means they take the vinyl out of the sleeve before packaging.

One more thing I just remembered and causes a slight nerd rage in me.

The deluxe CD comes with a second CD which has a slightly different tracklist but apparently is again a 'no pause' version like they did for Tao. (Sorry can't find the source again where I originally read this.)

The 2LP comes with the regular CD, which is a pity as the vinyl will be the regular version of the album as well.

But I can't understand why. Who listens to single tracks on vinyl LPs?

I guess it would have been too much work/cost to create a 3rd version for vinyl that only has breaks at the end/beginning of each side... meh.

As far as I understand the 2 LP version comes without the 'Mediabook' which is only part of the Deluxe CD.

But you can't add the vinyl to your cart without selecting 'Mediabook' as an option first, which I believe is a bug.

I've written to the Euro webstore about this a week ago, but got no response.

I also asked if they use anything better than unpadded paper sleeves for vinyl (which seems to be awfully common in the UK).

So, no variations so far, no book with the vinyl, shipping from the UK.... I see no reason not to wait for release date or until we have confirmed variations.
