I remember everyone flipping their shit about Diarrhea Planet's 10" inch, though I got it for the Those Darlins side.  

After a sale you're weary of, overseas or otherwise, withdraw the money from your Paypal account.  Worse case is your account gets shut down, but you won't lose the money.

Brian Eno was a huge fan and joined them/ripped them off at one point.

Low was Harmonia's best album.

It's kind of impressive how much junk they have to release.  I felt like With The Lights Out was billed as everything left when it came out, and it turns out it was only scraping the top.

And there's still so much more.  It seems only half the Outcesticide series is officially released.  Where's The End?

Sister and Daydream Nation for more rock a la Pavement or Dinorsaur Jr.  Experimental Jet Set... and A Thousand Leaves for their 90's pop sound.  Bad Moon Rising and Confusion Is Sex for their raw, noise driven early stuff.

I did try once with discogs and a copy or Seventh Son which the seller had listed as NM, but when I asked him about it he just said that it was as stated, so I pushed him a little further and he said that he 'hadn't actually listened to it, but it looks okay'. And then he got all panicky and said that I probably shouldn't buy it if I'm bothered about condition. So, my interest ended there!! But I'll give discogs another try - that was only one seller. Just feels like it's a minefield out there sometimes.

I usually downgrade my records just a hair so people won't be all up in arms when there's a small crease I failed to mention.  Then, when I start getting the insane emails asking for 20 pictures and the record's provenance, I tell them the same thing, why don't you go look elsewhere.  I'd rather not make a sale then spend a month on emails back and forth and, possibly, out the money.

I guess I could understand for $100 records, but $20, c'mon.

Being a KG&TLW fan it's quite traumatic to wake up here in Europe and find out that the announcement happened over night, so two questions:

- For those ordering with ATO, were you able to see the autographed booklet listed in your cart?

- For those ordering with Flightless, did you experience any down time with their website? Right now it's '404 - page not found'.

Autographed booklet was not in my cart and I ordered minutes after it was posted here.  Flightless seemed fine, never glitchy, so I'm guessing they removed the page because it sold out.

Has anybody on here seen SP on this recent tour with Manson? I'm seeing them tomorrow and am wondering if they are playing well.

Smashing Pumpkins' set was better than when I saw them in '99.  Pretty much greatest hits with minimal new garbage and they even played Thru the Eyes of Ruby.  I expected a fey, pop rock show and it was anything but even with the 'we support the troops', Star Spangled Banner and 'God blesses'.

Manson was a touch disappointing but that probably had more to do more with how much later career stuff they played.  And the five minute costume changes.  And the scripted stage banter.

I've got CSHFW.  My listing on Discogs.  I can come down on the price a little but I'm not in need of getting rid of it.

Just got a package I've been waiting over a month to get.  And ended up with a soaked record...  They packaged the whole thing in two DHL bags and that's it.  Everything is bent but I've never received a wet record before.  Do not think you're being cheeky and order from El Corte Ingles.
