1. should be a first time played record 2. should have a good table and cartridge 3. take the left and right out, into some sort of digital audio workstation 4. would be best at 96k 24bit 5. record the whole album 6. edit to separate tracks and manual clean up "pops" 7. bounce tracks to disk (still at 96k 24bit) 8. convert the master files to FLAC files 9. convert the FLAC files to your choice of mp3 by the way i do this if anyone needs
