bringing this thread back up. just got a zerostat gun, does not seem to be helping. i know it is not the preamp, as i have now tried different ones. i got new leads, no luck. anyone have anymore advice, or specific instructions on how to demag my cartridge? im going crazy not using my record player!

i think they have played trusty chords every time i have seen them since caution came out, and never not for anyone (i would love to see them play that...) and they have always had a huge draw all over florida, which i guess is how they were able to fill house of blues.

for a few reasons. i would rather buy a record directly from a band (if i know im going to be seeing them relatively soon). although i buy records to listen to, im a sucker for vinyl that matches the art, and i just like the tour version half/half the best. and i did not think the band would sell all of their tour copies by the end of september, much less the end of august. with that being said, i should have gone ahead and bought one just in case, but im sure there are other people in my situation, and i think a repress is called for

this is exactly why it needs to be repressed. i was waiting till i saw them for a copy, and now it seems like thats not going to happen, i dont want to pay tons of money for demos.

i also use a d70(s) and i love it. d80 is a great choice. if you can afford it wait for the d90, it has an HD video mode. a little gimmicky for an SLR, but you cant argue that it would be a nice feature to have. for a budget, the d40x is a great camera. i would recommend nikon, i just like the feel better than canon. and whatever you get, get an extended warranty (i got one through Mack, and they have been great)
