I used to run a board similiar to this, and there was an e-mail option. but it had to be enabled by the admin(s). maybe I should message one of them.

Is there any way to receive an e-mail notification, when you receieve a private message on this board? I thoroughly looked, but couldnt find anything. thanks.

I have always been somewhat of a minimalist, everything I own can fit in a small van. since High school I have been somewhat of "gypsy" moving at will, get tired of a place, pack up and move on. its not a bad lifestyle. I really dont have anything that holds me down, I'm through with college, no kids, not married. cars paid for.

and I didnt even mention all the 90's "alternative, new wave, death metal, thrash metal, hair metal, etc...., I'm almost overwhelmed by all the stuff I have.

To make a long story short, a record Distribution company from Little Rock, went out of business, The owner told me I could come with a truck and take anything home that I wanted. I ended up with about two van loads of Cassettes and cd's being taken home. the majority of the stuff was from the 80's and beyond, soo much stuff, too much to list. I have thousands of other cassettes as well, spanning many genres. If your interested let me know. I've had a lot of bad experiences shipping outside of the US, because of that I just don't do it anymore.

Poplar Lounge, famous from the movie "Huslte and Flow". downtown is mainly tourist blues and clubs. Go to Stax records, Goner records,. Phoa hoa bin, trax, Hueys, for amazing food. around the cooper young neighborhood all kinds of food places and bars including "the young avenue deli" great music venue, and good place to eat as well. if you like coffee "otherlands". Hi-tone cafe on Poplar, usually has shows going on a few nights a week. hope that helped.
