  1. So Act V is AMAZING. I don't know why, but I always get a nervous feeling when a new TDH record drops like somehow it won't live up to the expectations in my head but shit, this just blew them out of the water!
This has literally everything that I love about TDH genre wise - Prog, Industrial, Acoustic, swampy blues and on and on...just so much to love. Much darker tone that Act IV also.
'The Haves Have Naught' was a real surprise, very Razia's Shadow!

Mr Usher is just mind blowing, definitely an early favorite.

Will be on repeat this weekend!

The sound on the deluxe edition is fecking awesome!! Glad they gave this the 45 RMP treatment. Probably one of the best sounding LPs i've listening to this year

Nice! I just went with the standard on Amazon. Can anyone comment on SQ on that version? I have the 320mp3 and actually thought the sound wasn't that great.

My copy finally arrived!  The labels are super tiny.  I like it.

I haven't had a chance to spin it yet, anyone want to comment on the sound?

Sound is pretty good! I feel like the mix sounds slightly different but not in a bad way. My 2nd LP is a little bit noisy in the quiet parts. I've cleaned both records thoroughly but still some loudish clicks/pops etc but as I say, only really noticeable in the quieter parts and they aren't too distracting.

Overall really nice package. Not as cool as they intended it to be but the spot-gloss jackets and tiny labels are pretty darn cool.

Surprised you aren't digging it that much Sasan. It was definitely different than I expected after their first 2 EP's but I found a lot to like. Newman & Mastery are probably the only tracks I don't REALLY enjoy. Everything else I think is fantastic.

Definitely can't wait for another Vennart solo album though!

  4. Hey all! I know this isn't exactly related but I thought you guys might appreciate it. I've been sick the last few days and thought it would be a good opportunity to create some music again. I've been listening to a lot of Eluvium and Cliff Martinez of late and really wanted to do something ambient/soundtrack-y and hence, this was created. I made a pretty quick video to accompany it also. Would appreciate if you guys would check it out. My wife doesn't really 'get it' haha.
