Neither I nor my wallet is proud of it, but I usually end up buying top-tier packages from bands that I like. But $350 for a single hand-painted record is absolutely insane. I could maaaaayyybe understand the logic if it also came with a bunch of other shit, but this is wild. I like Anthony Green a lot but this isn't even a probable buy for me. I'll be curious to see how fast it sells out.

Love love love Grouplove, and although this album was a bit of a sonic departure from the first, I dig it a lot. Vinyl sounds good too. I hate the cover art but the gatefold is fairly neat.

Text on the front. Why?
Yeah, it's just a sticker on the plastic.

I got two VIP tickets, so I'll have one extra. I'm only willing to part with the second here on the boards, because I know y'all are legitimate and as passionate about collecting as I am. Priority goes to anyone who can hook me up with a teal 7", as that's the only essential thing I'm missing. Or, of course, one of the two Covers test presses.

I had a really great experience with Andrew at TLE...
That was nice of him to do for you. I don't think they're bad people or anything, it's just hard to not be bitter after what feels like 3 consecutive beatings with my own shoe. I really would like those new pressings of Hunger and Thirst and A New Kind of House, but it's just so hard for me to swallow my pride after all that. Probably will end up doing it anyway.

I really love this album but have almost no respect for Tender Loving Empire, which sucks because they release a lot of albums I like. They seriously charge $16.00 for shipping for one record. Plus, they lost a 4 record order I had with them once, made me pay to replace it, and then also never sent me my "Priceless Music Project" rewards which I backed pretty hard, then when I told them (gave them a year to ship the crap to me) that I never got my shit, they only sent me a handful of CDs I already owned--not what I backed to get. Just be wary is all I'm saying.
Guess I just needed to vent somewhere. But back to the point: Typhoon rules.

Speaking of...I listened to that shouting matches album the other day, it's really good!
I dig it a lot too. The dude is just so versatile.

Justin Verrrrrnon is my modern-day music hero. I am obsessed with this album.

Lame. He's not even doing a Seattle date!
You're in Seattle? I'm going to visit up there next year; highly considering moving there. How do you like it?

The Hurry and The Harm - 2nd Press red/green holiday - Limited to 334
Thirst - 2nd Press (US Tour Pre-sale Exclusive)
I really like those holiday ones, I think it's a neat idea. Also it's nice to finally see what my VIP tickets are coming with. Wish it was something cooler though, like all those Covers 7"s.

Mine got processed too. Hesitant to say I'm lucky juuuust yet.

Hnggg right in the heart. This is a summer album for me.

Then for anyone who wants to see, here's the rest of the Alexis-related collection...
What is that to the right of THATH and below the Orange Sessions disc? I've never seen it before.

Very excited. I think this may be the only time I would be mad if I got the hidden variant hahaha. Jungle mix looks too cool.

Keepin' my Circa collection complete. 3 in da bag.

Exactly I've done it a couple times now. My favorite being: http://i.imgur.com/uh0XVQx.jpg
hahaha I love it. Nice matches with the fonts, too. Color me impressed, sir. Always love your photos.

Love that cover art. Hope I'm a Loser.

Ha. I wonder how many people will steal this without noticing your name on the cover.

Futures is one of my all-time favorites. I know Invented wasn't their best effort but I'm surprised to see how many people here truly despise that album. I enjoyed it. This album, though, has been the first that hasn't grabbed me immediately. I think it's decent. You Were Good is definitely their weakest closer, by far. Just my couple of pennies.

^ Funny, Two Coins is my jam. Love this album.

The pacing of the show is just like the old days, but I feel like it's missing the punch it used to have. Though, I've only seen the first two episodes. Hope it gets better as it goes on.

It's happened. And it's so good.

Suuuuuper excited for this record. WIKY was perfection. Hopefully that wasn't a one-off thing.
