9 years after the band's debut "Voices", ABLE BAKER FOX return with their new album. “Visions” will be out on Arctic Rodeo Recordings in Europe and No Sleep Records in the US in late summer. It has been recorded by J Robbins at The Magpie Cage Recording Studio in Baltimore, MD in four days in January 2017. Arctic Rodeo is offering a standard version of the LP will on clear/white mixed vinyl, as well as #11 of their strictly limited Zum Heimathafen Art Series. This variant of the LP will come on exclusive pink/black mixed vinyl and will include an exclusive silkscreen art printed, numbered and signed by the hands of the artist Alexander Hanke at Zum Heimathafen. It is exclusively available at the Arctic Rodeo webstore and will be available the German mailorder Flight 13 soon. All LPs will come with and insert and a MP3 download card. Furthermore, there are T-Shirt bundles available. Arctic Rodeo Recordings will release the debut EP of a new project called CAMORRA, including J Robbins (JAWBOX, BURNING AIRLINES, CHANNELS, OFFICE OF FUTURE PLANS, GOVERMNET ISSUE), Jonah Matranga (FAR, NEW END ORIGINAL, ONELINEDRAWING, GRATITUDE, I IS ANOTHER) and Zach Barocas (JAWBOX, BELLS≥ ), supported by Janet Morgan (CHANNELS) and members of WAR ON WOMEN and THE PAUSES. As for the group’s mission, Katy Otto’s liner notes provide an accurate sense of the protest in CAMORRA‘s music. She writes, "We are a world starving for dignity, empathy, and justice. In order to keep working for these things, our souls need to be shored up. The plaintive songs on this album beg for that, for all of us." The debut EP by CAMORRA will be called "Mourning, Resistance, Celebration" and is going to be out on vinyl 10" June 30.

BARRELS were started in 2013 in Hamburg, Germany. The love for different kinds of independent rock music made them create their own mixture of Helmet-like grooves, Quicksand-ish chords, Texas-is-Reason-influenced harmonies, always aiming at the right balance between rough sounding energy and harmonic flows. The results have been put to stage opening up for a variety of differently sounding independent bands such as The Appleseed Cast, Karma To Burn, Pilot to Gunner, Quicksand and The Riverboat Gamblers – and all of these combinations actually turned out to work very well. In May 2015, the band's debut album has been recorded at Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg with Roland "Role" Wiegner. Among the long list of German bands that recorded their albums at Tonmeisterei are Marathonmann, Escapado, Omega Massif, and Long Distance Calling. Dan Coutant mastered the album at Sun Room Audio Studio in Cornwall, New York. Dan, who has also mastered albums by Clutch, Jawbox, Coliseum, The Sword and many others, is a good friend since his band Joshua started working with Arctic Rodeo back in 2011. The result of all the work will be out on vinyl March 24th 2016. The standard LP will be on pressed on silver/black mixed vinyl. A special LP version of the record is now also available as part 6 of Arctic Rodeo's Zum Heimathafen Art Series. Wow, awesome news. Unfortunately it's a part of the annoying RSD thing which I refuse to run after. This and all the other stuff put out on this insane day should be made available to all fans everywhere.
