is it YOUR money you're spending or hers? ... cause if its yours.. um... she can't really stop ya'. haha... other then maybe not givin' you any for a while, but she'll get over that quickly if thats the route she decides to take.

so far i've limited myself to 25 dollars, but i haven't tried to get anything too rare or anything. i'm sure it will go up once i find a press i really want badly enough.

i'd actually like to know what they think too. and hearing it from someone whose had to deal with it, actually helps me rationalize downloading a little bit. i guess i for someone like myself whose never had to deal with the financial aspect of it, ... would a band rather have me have the music for free, and then pay for other merch, or would they prefer me to pay for the cd and then not have the cash to buy the more expensive merch?

this is totally amazing. i can't wait for good shows to come back on air. hopefully the writing gets better too, since they'll be happier about coming to an agreement.

A lot of people go by this view point, it's not flawed. Hell, it's something that I do and have done since before downloading. If you like a band you buy a shirt and at the same time you get to look cool and support a musician. yeah, totally dude. i just guess i can see why people would consider downloading 'not stealing'... i thought that for a long time. 'i'm not stealing from the band if i'm still dropping tons of money on other shit from them" haha.

if i like a band, i download the music. then if they come around here, i'll pay the money to go see them live, buy the record directly from them, as well as probably a shirt and pack of pins or usually whatever release it was that i downloaded. if they don't come around this area, i still usually end up buying an lp or shirt or something if they're available. i think theres a line in the sand that people can't see. is it 'stealing'? yes, it is. is it taking money away from them? not necessarily if said downloader is still supporting the band in other ways. if i download a bands cd, and then pay 20 dollars for a shirt, ... they're still making money off me anyways. my logic may be flawed on this. haha

i agree. i hate to say it, but i think you're right. i don't think our country has come far enough to let a woman or a mixed man become our next president. which is beyond disappointing. there are too many people out there who aren't willing to step off their moral high horses, and realize that what could be good for America is a good change in the leadership, by letting someone who isn't a white male win.

+pay day (which means online record shopping later this evening) - i don't have one of those cheeseburgers in a can. and i'm starved.

In florida its only your windshield, but even if it is a tiny hairline fracture they will replace it for free. but when i had my 2 door civic some one broke out the tiny window behind the driver side and it cost me almost 300 dollars. sucks. but what sucks more is them stealing my cd books, check book, and my stereo. man, that sucks a lot. i hope everything with your checkbook got worked out and nothing happened. i had someone bust out my window once, but all they took was a book of burnt cds, and my left front floor mat. they left my expensive stuff, like the radio and polo jacket in the backseat. i got off really lucky.

won't lie. i'd totally eat it. and then probably try a second one if it didn't kill me instantly. i'm a total fat kid.
