Except Copeland was available for eons, and pretty much only went into the hands of people who wanted it. This is flying into the hands of flippers and desperate fans. Yeaa....that is true. Had this not been a RSD release I bet it would have followed a similar trajectory.

I get the feeling that this will eventually be a lot like Copeland's You are my Sunshine. 1000 pressed but just be a pain in the ass to find in a year or two.

oh man i'm an ass, i should've thought to check there first before freaking out. i guess just because this is one of my favorite bands doesn't mean it gets sold out quick like everything else. I know you probably don't want to pay the ebay prices but there are a bunch up on there already. Give it a few days and I bet that'll come down on price. They made 3500 of them.

We all know RSD sucks for the customers, but is it really all that good for the record stores either?? If people are just running in to get all the special releases, how much money is the store making?

cause SRC isnt a RSD store. more then likely they go out and pick up releases and then put them up in the store later at 2 pm or something. so they only have a few. its mark up. its just like someone shopping on RSD then going home and putting them up on ebay for a higher price. but of course, if this isnt what they do, someone correct me if im wrong. This wouldn't make economic sense for them to do. Run around to try and get a few records to make a few dollars on.

It's was a team effort. Sorry you didn't get it, but no need to call my girlfriend a BITCH. It's a record... Ladies and gentlemen I give you...Record Store Day! Some albums have already made it to ebay via flippers. This really is a stupid idea overall. Why don't they have record store month or something and roll out releases over a long term period? I don't own a record store or anything but I can't imagine that one or two days out of the year being extremely busy is really THAT great.
