  1. Hey folks,

Underground Communique will be releasing a new 4 song EP from the Chicago's the Sky We Scrape soon. We teamed up with the fine folks over at New Noise Magazine to premier a song off the record. This will be their first release since their LP came out on Paper + Plastick / Gunner Records in May 2013.

  3. I browsed reckless on broadway  and picked up the colored variant of sunny day real estate's lp2, but when i got home they gave me the black variant instead. i don't live in the city and going back to fix this may be a hassle, how would they handle this?

I would email them and explain the situation, be nice, and they'll probably help you out.

  4. I just got the Springsteen record in yesterday and haven't listened to it yet, but can it possibly be as bad as High Hopes? I didn't see Tom Morello in the credits on the jacket so I was more hopeful that the songs would be good.

I'll just have to throw this on when I get home tonight to make my own mind up.

Flood ended picking up the OFF 7", and one of the Devo Live LPs for me.

The long awaited split 7" from Chicago's Sweet Cobra and Milwaukee's Get Rad. This split was created to honor the late Mat Arluck (Sweet Cobra's lead guitarist who passed away in 2009).

Sweet Cobra's songs are built around ideas Mat had worked on with them before his death and the final track on their side is an instrumental track of his last piece of recorded music. Their songs are the relentless stoner punk rock akin to Torche & the Melvins that you know and love.

Get Rad's 2 songs are righteous blasts of crust inflected Minor Threat-style hardcore. They might be my new favorite GR songs. Seriously so fucking great.

Artwork is by Matt Putrid with layout by Ryan Patterson (of Coliseum / Auxiliary Design).

    Track listing:
    Sweet Cobra side:
    1.Old Haunts, 2.Complaints, 3.Sprague Dawley (reprise)
    Get Rad side:
1.Word is Bond, 2.Who Can You Trust
