NEVER FORGET
-
it was the mix/recording that killed the record. Songs are pretty rad though. Stoked about this!clumsy, astray, and YAFMO are my favorite samiam records. so i'm stoked for the clumy and YAFMO reissues.
i plan on picking up clumsy on record store day, if i can find it.
not a very big fan of 'whatevers' tho.
i dunno what was so unappealing about it for me, but i never gave it a real chance, cos it just kinda bored me and felt weird.

ordered, too random to pass up on. Finally ordered that latest WIFS LP too.

this is the day after I close on my house, I doubt I'll make it out this year.

Adeline is selling 7" for $7 now. damn.

I think the reason why not a lot of people are super into them is because their catalog is one of the most daunting tasks to tackle in modern music. I only have 1 CD, I love it. I've seen Dave from the Arrivals' GBV tribute band a few times...but I just haven't dove in and started to find things...maybe I will start this year....

you can collective feel Chicago as a whole was weakened. It's remarkable how much this has effected everyone I know.

Thanks to all that came out to see Break Anchor wrap up their tour last night in Chicago!
I picked up copies of their "Rolling Blackouts" Singles Collection CD and put them up in my distro:

I'll have a few new tape releases out soon, I'd hit up Mike from Dead Broke too, he does a lot of tape releases, PM me and I can send you his email if you need it.

never had problems with my copy

no idea about the CDs/other 7" I'll see but I doubt if I could get copies...I asked them to hold me a tour CD but they never even responded...so that's a 50/50 shot that they remembered.Justin, do you know if the band is bringing their CDs and glow in the dark 7" on tour? If so and they are hooking you up with a copy do you think you can ask for an extra pair for me and I'll pay whatever?
Also is Hellmouth done?
I think Jay said Hellmouth temporarily broke up after the last LP came out, but I guess they decided they wanted to keep doing the band and are working on new songs.

stoked for a new Astronautalis tune!

This record is ridiculously great. I'd liken them more to Modern Life Is War covering ENVY (Japan).

Shawn Knight's artwork is ridiculous.
