I'm a huge Springsteen fan, J Church is one of my favorite bands, but my taste is super eclectic, it's not uncommon for me to go from listening to the Promise Ring to Manowar to Bad Religion to Electric Light Orchestra to Tom Waits to the Specials to Pearl Jam to Sam Cooke to Kungfu Rick, and on and on....

...I'd rather get something thoughtful like an obscure bands 7" or LP that you have a story to tell about that, than anything fancy or expensive...obviously it's nice when it's appealing or it's a record that I don't have though.

I always try to look at the other persons record collection and look for records that mean a lot to me and then write a story to the person on why I think that record is important for them to own. I'm sure that's borderline pretentious as hell, but that's usually my method.

please don't buy me t shirts I have WAY too many shirts in my house that eventually are going to be cut down and maybe if I get super ambitious one day, become a quilt.

Movies/TV: huge John Cusack fan, I like dumb comedys, action flicks (especially of the spy - mercenary type) & documentaries. I'm a huge Alton Brown/Good Eats fan too.

Party v. Get chastised for partying

RVIVR knows the crowd will turn on them in a heartbeat if they try that with a 1000 people watching. They can pull that BS with a house show, at Fest, too many people are waiting for them to try it. It would get UGLY quick.

I'm guessing you need a mold and a special press to make this...I can't even conceive of a DIY method to doing this without essentially, re-casting a record with a heated mold.

good dudes, good band, I hope their record actually materializes relatively on schedule.

this is something that 95% of the people who buy it, will not ever listen to every record in the set and after about 2 records will immediately regret buying it....I think it's safe to say Rancid just devalued their entire catalog...because these will hit every discount site and every dollar bin within 1-2 years.

yessir...one of these days those fucking 7"s are gonna show up, too.

this Converge album is probably going to take my vote too.

Going to sell a whole mess of test pressings soon, I'll do an inventory tonight....but there's a lot lying around.

the artwork reconstruction is taking longer than expected...as the sources were in rougher shape...but what I've seen looks AMAZING.

Why did they not do an LP Box Set with all the bells and whistles....that would be a better buy

that will come out next year.

I believe Flood has approved the test pressings of the last two 7"s...

I believe New West Records is in Austin, hit up Aaron from Team Science Records, he can put you in contact with them, might be able to work something out...they're a huge indie label, but might be able to give you something to do. Worth a shot to ask em at least.
