Do you guys think this race is really as close as the media is making it out to be?

No, I don't but I have a little bit of naive belief that the world has some sense in it....so in my head I want to see a landslide victory for Obama, but deep down it's probably going to be a close one.

might just go to DC to see them play over seeing them in Chicago. House of Blues is the worst venue to see a show in the city...the employees/security there are the fucking WORST.

No other store/distro is going to get either of these (until the real version of the VBS/PP split comes out next month)....but the remaining Fest 11 edition of the split 7" will only be available through my store otherwise.

the VBS split is /110 on black/test pressings, the comp is on black and limited to 302 copies.

^ Yeah, I bought a Kevin Seconds drawing last year too and have that framed as well. In my office I'm slowly making collages in frames with all my old ticket stubs; I have a flyer from when my old band opened for DRI, and the Mitch Clem scribble that inspired the "Damn Those O Pioneers!!!" alternate cover.

I've seen them in the past and they were fucking great!

I love to listen to KM talk between songs...he's really genuinely funny and so sarcastic. When he explains songs too: so I know that Jeffrey Lee Pierce was his long time roommate, and that's why he wrote that song. Little details that aren't conveyed in the lyrics.

Also comparatively to lots of hardcore bands in the 90's talking a couple minutes between 30 second songs is fine - lot's of bands would talk for 5+ minutes between songs. He at least has the bigger than life personality to go with it.
