anyone with a messed up record actually send theirs in? i want to know how that worked out because mine is bad as well but i did not want to give it up if i wasn't getting another one

that's what i'm saying! the FOT Doppleganger press was beautiful and i'm pumped for Manipulator... this guy does awesome work and i can't wait to see what else is up his sleeves

no offense, but please put out your own original band and take a risk instead of trying to license all these sure sellers. (excluding your one off release by "Harvard") why should they? there's records that are oop or not even pressed and if they don't press them who will? the label is just trying to get releases into the hands of people who want them at a faster pace.. if labels are willing to give the rights over then obviously they have no plan of pressing vinyl so let someone who wants to do it

so that means we're gonna have to wait for them to do Deja on their own?

i wasn't but i went there under the impression that it was a general website with pressing infos and not biased to one genre so i started throwing big names and watching the results get rejected

thought i noticed something off when listening to it today

deadformat sucks... they don't have nearly as enough releases at discogs... i looked up the beatles on deadformat once and nothing came up.. REALLY?!

so what's your beef should it be re-press or vinyl re-release? for future reference of course

and yes i'm aware the two are a coincidence and the band didn't actually listen to me

i wrote on brand new's facebook wall like two weeks ago asking for this and deja to be re-pressed and now this shit happens hopefully my luck will come through

ugh you guys are missing the point though it's bad fucking business we all know we're getting it and some of us are more impatient than others.. hell i haven't contacted the guy once about it cause i got other shit going on but the point is yeah it's gonna come eventually and i don't think he's fucking us over but for me i just don't think it's right to let any business regardless of product sit there and keep doing this the only way for change is to speak up...

^ you don't know what people are buying and the thing is in the music market the popularity still probably goes 1.mp3s 2. cds 3.vinyl... vinyl may be making(or made?) a come back but it's still a small market of people still i mean look at hot topic.. i go in there for vinyl but they have a wider selection of CDs

yeah reading through that completely contradicts the guy who said RJ admits to being late... who knows anymore but i don't think it's right to just sit back and expect this to happen with every release like i said if we do that then nothing will change

Daisy is a good record.. everyone will see it one day just like everyone thought pinkerton sucked (when it came out) and now it goes down as weezers best.... but this is on interpunk too i might just bite the bullet and preorder since i can't find anything else to do with the store credit i just got from my cancelled glassjaw order

you can't deny it's bad customer service and sitting there quiet isn't going to get them to change their ways so all you can do is bitch to them and hope that they eventually get their shit together with dates and customer service

then forums will fill up about how their preorders haven't come yet and how they haven't messaged anyone about the whereabouts of their records

i think Soco is the best way for the album to end so i really am glad the bonus track isn't there and the picture shown is definitely referencing that song
