I'm saying. As frustrating as this show can be, I'd be fine with a long episode. More time for plot, action, character development, and even filler in this show is something I enjoy. I don't understand when people say "man, they should've just shortened the season and cut out the filler." Why? That's less entertainment for you to watch. If it's a good show, then why complain about more of it.

Opie had to die for Jax to continue his ride.

Yeah, I feel like we've seen his ride from what he was in the first season to what he's become now and I think his ride isn't over and there'll be something that let's people who have been watching this show for seven god damn years feel justified in the amount they've in Ested in it. This show has been my favorite show since the beginning, and I don't want it's last season to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Sutter has odd ways of doing things, but I think they're mostly effective. So I have some hope.

I know Nucky killed at least one other person on camera, not sure about off camera.
