im not comparing them to dinosaur jr obviously. I'm just saying that a band can have a sour album (maybe dino wasn't the best example) and then bounce back from it. everybody is totally overreacting and saying say anything is over, when it was only 1 album that wasn't well received!

It's all speculative and i know i'm going to get shit, but i didn't really like Farm that much. Don't get me wrong though thats the ONLY album i didn't care for.

But, still man, in reality, it's ONE album that every one seems to be freaking out over and taking it too far in my opinion. While i don't really have the highest hopes for this album per say, there has been so many bands that have had a sour album and bounced back from it completely; Dinosaur Jr, Metallica, Bush, etc. Again, I just think everybody is taking one bad album way too far.

I mean, you could easily play devil's advocate and say that what Carcillo did was classless and he's a shithead for getting involved with the fans like that (do i think that? hell no, what a funny thing to watch, i was smiling the whole time). fans probably would've done the same thing in New York or Boston or any other big hockey town if put in that situation.

on the liner notes it mentions "drums on clemenceau played by..." and i was really let down to not hear a surprise clemenceau track on the new LP but yes it sounds awesome
