  1. I have mixed feelings about the clips... I preordered without listening, though. I'm still gonna listen to it a bunch when I get it. We'll see how it goes.
  2. There have been a couple people who have used it in the past. Blake is the best bet, but I wouldn't rule out J Robbins. Also - I just stumbled upon this article for those who care. It's pretty much saying everything we know at this point. http://nationalunderground.org/2012/09/10/not-forgotten-forgetters-announces-full-length/
  3. I figured it would have. This is my first time hearing everything else. I loved Watch The Corners when it came out. First track is good.
  4. You dudes notice they're streaming the whole album on npr now? Looks like it was posted yesterday. I am just about to start listening. http://www.npr.org/2012/09/09/160628084/first-listen-dinosaur-jr-i-bet-on-sky
  5. I haven't gotten around to checking out a lot of these. I can't remember if I heard forgetters do Ribbon Head but that was one of my favs while Thorns of Life were around. I'm not sure what happened with Caroline. I think she quit but am not positive on that. She did pretty much all of the promotion shit which is why nobody knew anything for so long.
  6. I think that was the rumor. Here was a post from someone who supposedly contacted the studio and asked them about it... Hi, gang. I'm hoping to revive some of your spirits. I did a little bit of digging on this forgetters records and have found out some interesting things. First of all, J. Robbins did not play bass on the record. I was told by the studio they recorded at that actually played "Dale Nixon" played bass. Please reference the Wikipedia article below, and you might be surprised who that could be. I see two very big possibilities. I also have a tracklist that I'm going to post below. This was followed by dumb speculation as to who Dale Nixon could be. Here's the track listing... Not Immune In America Turn Away Ribbon Head Strike Lie Artist Hoop and Swan Die By Your Own Hand Days of You Les Arrivisits Seconds Oh, Deadly Death
  7. This has been rumored for months and months. It was finally confirmed by the band yesterday in a post on their blogspot. "WE WILL HAVE A NEW FULL-LENGTH RECORD AVAILABLE COME NOVEMBER 14TH, 2012. WE WILL BE OPERATIONAL AND PLAYING SHOWS IN NYC AND FAR-AND-AWAY SOON. WILL KEEP YOU POSTED." http://forgetters.blogspot.com.es/2012/09/we-will-have-new-full-length-record.html This is all the info available at this time, cause they're jackasses. It'll probably be available for purchase through midheaven like the 2x7" that came out in 2010. Even though it looks like he's still working with Kevin Mahon (ugh), I'm pumped.
  8. Anyone wanna buy anything? Anything on my list goes (other than what is marked "HOLD"... Those are pending deals). Make an offer, ask me to price stuff, whatever. If I priced items for you and you want more than three items, I'll shave some off of your total. Message me on here or email me at... [email protected] ^^ Yup, that says THEE, not THE. Here's the list... http://deadformat.net/tradelist/Robthepenguin89
  9. All PM's responded to. Anyone else want anything?
  10. Bumpsky. All who have paid - Your records have been sent.
  11. Uhhh.......... Nah. haha. I'm gonna stop it soon I think. I don't wanna get rid of absolutely everything. Everyone so far has been awesome and has helped me out a ton. I am way closer to where I need to be right now. All PM's responded to. If anyone else wants anything let me know quick. I might close the sale at the end of the day.
  12. I don't have the money to keep up with this at the moment and need dough for a trip I'm taking in a couple months. I opened this up to a couple of friends so there's already some stuff on hold pending their payment but anything you see that isn't marked "HOLD" is open. Shoot me some offers. If you are interested in more than a couple, I'll cut you a deal. Have at it! http://deadformat.net/tradelist/Robthepenguin89
  13. Not to mention the close to $30 for fucking shipping. Jesus Christ. I'd love that one, but yeah, I can't justify that. Maybe I'll try and message this dude and see if he would take out Dear You and sell it separate?
  14. Anyone got any Jawbreaker cassettes?
  15. I wish they would post a day by day show schedule so I can see if I'm skipping this wedding or not. I wish I had extra cash to grab the 3 day pass and the after party tix.
  16. Still looking to sell off some stuff. Anyone else interested?
  17. I'm stressin' hard about money. I won't bore you with a backstory so all i'll say is I need money in general. Check out my TL in my sig. I'm trying to collect Jawbreaker/JTB stuff but won't exclude all of it from sales. I'll let go of the easier stuff to come by most likely. I won't get rid of cassettes. Let me know if you're interested. Make me offers.
  18. My (other) uncle doesn't want to sell anything just yet. I'm sure he will want at some point though. I PMd people who showed interest towards the comics. I have the list done and it's full of 655 comics. Half of that is marvel/DC. Memorable mentions from the second box are big Badger and American Flagg collections (these take up at least half of the second box) and some Green Hornet stuff. If anyone wants anymore info on anything mentioned, shoot me a PM and we can talk about it until (hopefully) my (other) uncle wants to sell off the stuff. He now just wants me doing research on everything for now. Thanks to everyone who has helped.
  19. Wow. This is incredibly depressing. He needs to stay the fuck away from alcohol. Seriously. I can't believe he hasn't embarrassed himself out of drinking altogether. I would have long ago had I been in that position.
  20. I always go to them for stickers. Really good work. Never gotten shirts though. Was considering it, but I have a friend who does that stuff that's local and can match their prices so I don't have to pay shipping.
  21. They just posted (about 10 minutes ago) this update on their Facebook page. "Second Wave of Announcements for Riot Fest (and a few other surprises) coming soon."
  22. If you have a simple design, i'd say even just do some searches for screen printing websites. You should be able to get quick quotes right on the websites. The more you order, the less it's going to cost per shirt. But it even depends on where you go. When i first got shirts for my band, I think I was paying like $5.50 per shirt for small runs of 30-40 at a time. The next time I went back it was $7.50. The next time the dude wanted to charge me fucking $10 per shirt. Was giving me bullshit on how there's a cotton shortage and the cost is going up. So I talked to some people and a friend had just started a screen printing company and he got me $5.50 per shirt.
