  1. I know how you feel, just 2 days ago i sent a first press, black gaslight sink or swim from Australia to the UK. I packed it as best i could, and i''ve got my fingers crossed it makes it without any douchebag playing frisbee
  2. I should add that, the reason i'd package it like that would be so no air/moisture would seep in. Hopefully the bubble wrap and tape would do that. Any sort of airtight packaging would be fine i guess
  3. Just the same way i'd want to receive a record in the mail. Record out of the cover, cardboard either side, bubble wrapped, in a hefty record mailer, that is sealed with tape on the edges
  4. Track 4: Big boys is ruining my speaker. I love that a 30 year old record can produce such a wide range of sound able to crack and distort my speakers, when i can play literally any CD as loud as i choose and it's crystal clear. This is the only record i have in my collection that has done this
  5. And for those in America, they''ll be touring through september and october
  6. That version sounds very similar to the live at wireless from tripple J here in australia. If it is, it was recorded february 18(i think or 16th) of this year at the metro in sydney. If you want to hear a little more from that show, there are 2 songs here( http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/media/s3228955.htm). Or if you want to download the whole concert it''s REALLY easy to find by searching gaslight anthem live at the wireless in google
  7. if you want to use the quick reply you can do it like this, but without spaces in the brackets [ IMG ] the picture URL here.jpg [ /IMG ] if you hit the reply button it''s a litte easier, and there will be a button with a little picture on it. It adds the [ IMG ] tags for you, so you don''t have to type it out As for the photo itself, once you have taken it, upload it to a photo hosting site(theres a shitload of them, just pick one) and then it''ll give you the links
  8. I''ve recently moved and have just unpacked and started setting everything back up again. There is junk everywhere and i''m not too happy about it. This will change eventually.
  9. Hard ons - Eat shit, listen to horrible music. http://www.impedance.com.au/imp023.html
  10. Thank you for posting that link, i've just ordered myself a red copy. I can finally go to sleep now
  11. dammit, $53 shipping. I just can't do it
  12. Frome the side1dummy facebook In response to my questioning the pre-order being taken down/bundle "Sit tight on that, it'll be up soon. We want to make sure all the options are posted. When they are all in the system, they'll be posted."
  13. the bundle was /300 and was the LP, cd, shirt, el jefe poster and limited 7" for $55. it wasnt on the main page but when i clicked the horrible crowes it took me to the bundle Hrmmm, i'll have to try and get on to that bundle i think. The poster from El Jefe is on the 1st page
  14. obviously cheap records are more important than living in a tropical paradise. The brochures you've read must be those fancy glossy ones. It's not all beer and skittles down here. It's not even about cheap shipping, rather not more expensive than the records i've just ordered. US$24 for the records, and US$32.87 for the shipping. And i don't get a realistic shot at the red variant either
  15. Australia AKA the arse-end of the world
  16. Well i just got raped on postage costs $32 for 2 records...
  17. borrowed from the dimestore saints forum, El Jeffe design again
  18. Exactly this. Been lurking for a couple of years, and oddly enough. I'm from wollongong australia. An hour south of this same poster
