  1. There looks to be some "new" versions of the Incubus releases on eBay and it seems the ONLY differences will probably be a different "hype" sticker from what I can tell from the pictures and these will be unnumbered. Why is this even happening? Why make "exclusives" for RSD then 2 months later release more? It's overkill.

It's not overkill if Sony knows they'll sell.

  2. Cannot believe I forgot that I owned The Decline! Thanks for reminding me.

Colors are cool and all, but when it's all standard weight, I value color as much as regular black. I do like my copy of Pump Up The Valuum in baby blue though. All my other NOFX records I'm pretty sure are all black. NOFX albums are among the best sounding ones I have in my collection.

  3. Don't love every NOFX album, but do love a number of them. I will probably pass on the box set. I got all these on vinyl, don't know which other album I REALLY want to own (besides White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean which I still need to purchase). I don't need every NOFX release, I'm happy with where I'm at.

    Punk in Drublic
So Long and Thanks For All The Shoes
    The Decline
    Pump Up The Valuum
    The War on Errorism
    Wolves In Wolves' Clothing
    Frisbee
    The Longest EP

  4. There not going to be a correlation between the numbers and where they were bought. I know my numbers are completely random. Same go for a few friends of mine who also picked up the records. Just a heads up. But overall, I guess this a cool idea.

Ohhh we know this, really we're just doing it for fun and cause we're a bunch of incu-nerds.

  5. Hey guys, one of the posters at the Incubus Online forum is doing this small project where everyone posts what numbers they have for each Black Friday Incubus LP release and includes what store and city they purchased them from. If you guys don't want to post on that forum, you can post your number for each album an store/city and I'll pass on your info to the forum. We're trying to compile all the numbers to see how they were distributed geographically. If you got yours online, you'd just say "online".

    Here's mine as an example...

    S.C.I.E.N.C.E - No. 1331

    Make Yourself - No. 0043

    Morning View - No. 0041

A Crow Left of the Murder - No. 1759

    Light Grenades - No. 1413

    Evolution Records - Lakeland, FL

  6. Outside of the album, I'd say these would probably rank as the most prized vinyl releases from the band...

    Familiar/S.C.I.E.N.C.E Instrumentals

    - 5 of the tracks are only available on the vinyl

Are You In (Oakenfold Remixes promo)

    - Only legitimate remix of any Incubus song

Let Me Tell Y'all About Rootbeer

    - Only release to contain the New Skin demo

    - Only vinyl version of Azwethinkweiz.

    Talk Shows On Mute

    - Yellow pressing

    - Contains 2 songs from their BBC Radio 1 Session which weren't released anywhere else (Hello wasn't performed in Japan, that's a misprint) besides the cd version of the single

    Pardon Me

    - Red pressing

    - Only vinyl release with the acoustic version of Pardon Me

    Promises, Promises

    - Only vinyl release featuring "Rebel Girls"

Also something to keep in mind. According to Brandon in an interview he did a while back, all songs pre-Morning View were recorded to tape. Everything since Morning View and beyond was recorded digitally.

  7. Didn't see any thread worth bumping so I figured it would be better to start a new one. I would also edit this post whenever there are new updates worth mentioning. I help mod at the Incubus Online forum, but there are some fans out here that don't go to that forum who collect Incubus on vinyl.

Anyways, how is everyone here digging the new Black Friday presses? Haven't gotten through them all, but S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself sound awesome!

  8. The $199 may be expensive, but you gotta consider everything in it.

"Make Yourself", "Morning View", and "If Not Now, When?" albums performed from start to finish in their entirety plus every other song performed in nights 3, 4, and 5 spread across 8 LP's all in gatefold. The band had never performed any album from start to finish.

    All 6 nights on 6 cd's.

Not only a normal dvd highlighting the whole week but you also get a blu-ray dvd which is NOT available anywhere but the Boxset.

The band also personally autographed all 2000 photo books thrown into the boxset.
