I think the variant thing is a moot point though cause /100 is 3 times harder to find than /300, and if you want the /300 so bad you'll have plenty of people willing to accommodate you - there's gonna be a "hole" either way cause if you ARE a variant collector and get sent the /300 you'll be hard pressed to ever track down the /100 without coughing up some $ for it or a bigger trade than you'd want right?

I didn't mean my comments as anything other than grateful, if I'm who you are referring to. I was pleasantly surprised to have received one of these friends presses, I was just caught off guard because I had been expecting a different color. And aftermarket selling price shouldn't really matter in either situation as most of us aren't here for flipping purposes, but I get your point.

As I was telling Oscar earlier in the thread, I completely understand why a label wouldn't be giving out these copies for free, LPs are expensive to produce and giving away an extra 100 for free doesn't seem like a viable business solution in many cases. We were just discussing how if you are a variant collector and purchased for example an /300 yellow and received the friends press it is awesome but at the same time you could end up with a hole in your collection because that one has already sold out as well. Variant Collectors issues, not a gripe at B9.

The extra paper sleeves are what the NFG LP's originally came in before we swapped out the printed versions. They get thrown in as extra padding in the mail-

I find it hard to believe that kids who score a ltd to 100 NFG record when they thought they were getting a more common variant would be anything other than grateful. The ltd to 100 pink "Not Without a Fight" LP's were selling on eBay for upwards of $500 when that came out, people expect those to be given out for free?

I guess it's possible it was an isolated issue, I'll keep an eye out for any other mentions of it but I wasn't able to replicate it here, thank you!

Myself and a quite a few other members here received copies that have small BB sized indentations on the A-side which causes the record to skip every 10-30 seconds. I have personally contacted the mail order team and received a replacement copy that has the same issue.

I'm grateful for the replacement but the issue is with the pressing as a whole, luckily I have a playable euro version to listen to.

I just played a clear AND a red version of the 7" on our office record player, and there were no skips.  I was worried for a moment because it looked like there is a small indent on the record itself but when it played, no skips - is it possible that it's your player? 

What happened with the 7"s?

We haven't had anyone complain about the quality of the 7 inches, they took a while because the first test pressings were f-ed, but the actual records play fine and I just checked with our mailorder crew, no complaints so I think you might be referring to the posters that some people got that were mushed in the mail.

10th anniversary re-pressing of the "Get An Oxygen Tank" EP.  Has a 9 song Live at WERS set on the B-Side.

Went to IKEA and got Ribba picture ledge floating shelves this weekend to display the 2013 releases in the B9 break room (plus a few extras) and was really happy with how it turned out.  Thought it might be a good option for others looking to display records.  This took 6 of the shelves (two per row), cost about $100 (including the drywall anchors, purchased separately), and took about an hour-

No problem, thanks Adam! We always try to get stuff out to mailorder customers before they're in stores but sometimes the extras that we include take a little more time. Case in point - the Champion poster was ordered literally 3 weeks ago - a complete last minute addition, we placed the order probably around the same time the LP's were showing up at our distributor to go out to stores. Minor delay but like I said they came out awesome, so I'm glad we made them!

I don't know your order offhand but we JUST got the big posters that were available with the records from us directly, so if your order included that, it's likely just shipped out earlier this week. If that's the case, the poster will make it WELL worth the wait.

Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud, most commonly used in retail sales but also applicable to other contexts. How is that relevant? What did you buy that you didn't receive? not trying to be a jerk about it but a few people are trying to make this into something that it isn't.

I can thankfully afford the 20$ hit on records that where not at the top of my priority list. But a lot of people can not. although it was "free" you post something on a record message board saying free 7" 100% of the people think its a record.

Now who is to say the whole mystery box delay was just a story so they could post free 7" to get certain people to buy more from them. It just seems fishy.

The fourth 7" bonus got held up and wasn't going to be ready in time. So, we went ahead with the other three. THEN, we get word that that 4th bonus will be ready first, and it shows up before the others After we already launched the pre-orders.

Just do what I am going to do. no paypal claims or anything. Just dont support them anymore at all. That simple. they made over $5000 last weekend good for them. I bet half of that would not have been ordered if not for this promo

this was 100% done in good fun, not to scam anyone. We threw in a free CD with each order, didn't charge for the item, went to great lengths to make it funny and collectible (hand numbered glue pocket covers, different color variants, a pun-y marketing sticker). Judging from the positive emails and feeback that I've gotten for the most part people get the joke and can laugh along with it.

I'm not even bummed. I think it's funny personally, but I also think it's kind of fucked up for people that ordered an unnecessary order that love Have Heart and wanted to keep their collection complete.

But seriously, please tell me there are variants for this with different amounts per color haha. PLEASE POST THE PRESSING INFO PLEASE B9

FYI we threw a free CD in every order, and the HH 7 inch "Bonus" was also FREE.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that anyone who is legit bummed on this was only going to try and flip it. Also, they don't appreciate funny things.

the "exclusive" b-side on the 7" released prior to the album, is on the 12" vinyl as a hidden track.... so much for "exclusive"

that was an accident, future pressings won't have it on there.

Anyone get the deluxe package with the bonus 7" yet? Or at least shipping confirmation?

I've gotten nothing.

EDIT: I did get the download.

We should be getting the bonus 7" today or tomorrow, so these should all ship out shortly. The pressing plant messed up the side split on the 7", so we had to get another round of tests, and whatnot... Pain in the ass but hopefully worth the wait!
