chriswrenn got a reaction from shenanigans in New Found Glory Kill It Live out 10/8
Glad people love the notes!
I think the variant thing is a moot point though cause /100 is 3 times harder to find than /300, and if you want the /300 so bad you'll have plenty of people willing to accommodate you - there's gonna be a "hole" either way cause if you ARE a variant collector and get sent the /300 you'll be hard pressed to ever track down the /100 without coughing up some $ for it or a bigger trade than you'd want right?

chriswrenn got a reaction from Shitty Rambo in PO: Iron Chic- The Constant One
I guess it's possible it was an isolated issue, I'll keep an eye out for any other mentions of it but I wasn't able to replicate it here, thank you!

chriswrenn got a reaction from chefchino in New Found Glory - Mania LP (Record Store Day 2013 Exclusive)
if anyone is unhappy with their NFG order (got a RSD variant instead of the pink/black), please feel free to return it to Bridge Nine for a refund!

chriswrenn got a reaction from lexicondevil in HAVE HEART - The Things We Carry (Clear Vinyl)
I've never repressed a record without having a variation between the pressings, and I really don't see the problem with doing 1,000 piece re-pressings on different colors. It shows when you got into the band based on what color you have. And if you're a color variant collector, you have at least 3 months to part with $12 if you HAVE to have it (at least with Have Heart), so it's not that big of a deal, if you want it you'll likely have time to get it.
I think black vinyl re-pressings are boring, and don't make a lot of sense. If I'm going to press a record in 2011 I'd like to be able to tell the difference between the copy that was pressed in 2007. But, that's just my 2 cents
