  1. definitely agreed here...i love knowing that if, by chance, i'd gotten into "reinventing" late, i could still get it on some neato color...
  2. thanks for the pm's and replies...dante, i look forward to hearing from you!
  3. i really need these, in the worst possible way...i know this is early, but i figured i'd post some things i'd be willing to trade when these come in... Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit (repress on clear/red splatter) NOFX - They've Actually Gotten Worse (brown/purple) Lagwagon - Trashed (clear green/black smoke or clear blue) Tiger Army - Self Titled (clear orange) thanks for any help with this!
  4. ridiculous...my favorite band, my most wanted vinyl releases ever, and i'm sitting here this morning totally bummed out because i won't even see these unless i pay 20-30 bucks down the road...i'm not even holding my breath for a second pressing, because apparently you have to sit at your computer all night just to get records...
  5. That's Todd from Clearview, really great guy. Everyone should buy the Lillingtons 3xCD set he's got up. I think it's limited to 1000 and worth every penny of the $15ppd. I keep thinking of buying the Sack CD, but I've not listened to any of it. Anyone have/hear it? i second the "great-guy todd" sentiment...just won the technically unsound boxset and he threw in the sack full length for nothing! and i don't mean the sampler that came with the boxset, either! by the way, it's exactly like lillingtons minus the sci-fi...great stuff...
  6. They're playing second. As far as I know, the order is: The Queers BTMI! Lemuria Andrew Jackson Jihad Kepi Ghoulie awesome! thanks for the info...kepi will most likely be acoustic, and since i've seen the queers a million times, i can leave early, get some merch and her ears won't bleed...plus, it's a work night!
  7. i'd really like to know in what order the bands are playing...the reason is my 3 year old daughter loves andrew jackson jihad, and if they happen to play first, i'd love to let her check them out...so if anyone going to see the tour before it hits nashville can post this info, i'd greatly appreciate it!
  8. happened to me recently with all three recess represses...spun the tip of a steak knife around twice and we're good to go, just weird that the recess records all came in nearly the same time and all had identical problems...
  9. ridiculous...my favorite by them...
  10. just got home and this was on the doorstep...gatefold looks gorgeous! thanks to toby, virgil and the bottlerocket!
  11. "the screeching queers at the hospital" 3 pack from recess the lawrence arms "greatest story" 12 bucks buy-it-now...i don't get lucky very often, but that was amazing considering what people are giving for it lately...
  12. great...well, i guess it's just a good story to tell as i won't be able to brag about the monetary worth...thanks for the info!
  13. a long time ago, i won an auction for the lillingtons - shit out of luck and the nothing cool split...turns out the auction was run by the dude from clearview that had found some sealed copies...got them both for something like 12-15 bucks...anyway, he sent me the wrong record and when making good, sent me a copy of Mr. T Experience's road to ruin on half blue half yellow vinyl along with my records...it had no cover, just a paper sleeve...wondering if anyone has any info on it (pressing/how much it goes for)
  14. well, i think epitaph should take a money-making cue and repress some records! could use some old nofx and bad religion...
  15. i'm not quite getting this...i saw new found glory years ago opening for less that jake (notice no abbreviations!) and they stunk it up...then, i start seeing tons of teeny-boppers wearing the shirts and the band's mugs pasted on everything...very blink-182-ish and the music just never clicked with me...just wondering if the music picked up a bit in quality since then, or is the vinyl just ultra-collectible/profitable...i see a lot of great bands and have also discovered some great bands that are praised here and this one baffles me...
  16. less talk would be awesome, but i also agree with a previous post...repressing punk in drublic and white trash is where it's at!
  17. yep, saw a copy of the red in memphis...didn't want to spend the money when shang-rila has so many other delicious records to buy...(no, i'm not a shang-rila shill, i just always walk out with an armful of records)
  18. i only buy copies of unicornography if they're sealed...
  19. this time next week, i'll be spinning the queers, the weasels and the hospitals...tubular...
  20. Heh heh, well that is officially the toungest person to ever request something on vinyl. Might have to heed that one. that's fantastic...i can see it now...she hits the start button, the arm drops, and sundowner comes out of the speakers, she summons a backflip from her pint sized frame and i summon one from my too-many-pints sized frame...
  21. just thought i'd say that my 3 year old daughters favorite song in the universe is sundowner's version of "boatless booze cruise"...one day, sitting in her carseat listening to it, she told me "you don't have this one on a record."...her mom must've told her the news...just saying...
  22. picked up the burgundy at the murder by death show in nashville on sunday...i thought the same thing when i opened it, that the vinyl matches the artwork quite nicely... also, it's my new favorite record by them...
