had one from Newbury until checkout, "we don't ship to California"
-
Fountains of Wayne is listed as In Stock at Luna, which somebody mentioned earlier -- not sure if this is one of those stores that sells & then cancels orders but here's the link:

is the Brandi Carlile release available anywhere online? i've checked all the sites I know and it's either not on sale yet or sold out...
-
So I finally got around to playing mine (purple Lps) for the first time...there are a few skips during Reach Down...I figured it could be my turntable but I played the song over and it skipped at the same parts...anybody else have any skipping issues with theirs?
-
This system is so hit or miss- reading all these horror stories makes me think I was quite lucky to get my single copies of S/T, Blue and OOTV in the mail perfectly with no issues...
-
I think the Pledge Music involvement was just their method of doing pre-orders, since the album is already done...as someone said above
-
If anybody here cares, 311 announced their new album and corresponding Pledge drive..signed vinyl & such

ugh, I didn't know it was so hard to find Ursa Major in LP by itself now...anybody know if it's available anywhere online? The usual sites are all out of stock and there's nothing on Ebay that I can find...
-
holy hell, so the band is seriously going to end up shipping out box sets to people that cancelled orders? That's quite a mess, wow
-
-
if you're talking about the box set, no one (to my knowledge) had gotten shipping confirmation yet. they have until the end of the week to be on time as "shipping the week of 12/16" as I doubt they would have them all shipped out the first day.
oops, should have clarified - I'm referring to the single LPs, bought S/T/Blue and OOTV right when they went on sale separately

Oh boy...via Failure's FB page (https://www.facebook.com/Failureband/posts/268029976681342)
If you want to own a copy of our Magnified album on Vinyl, then you'll have to wait until someone actually releases it. The recent release by ORG music, claiming to be our album Magnified, is not. The people over at ORG Music, or perhaps the people at Rhino, (the catalog arm of Warner Bros) decided that they didn't need to check with the band before pressing, and actually left off a very important piece of the album. There is a Segue that comes right after the title track, that was left off. We are not talking about a disagreement in the quality of the mastering, or the type of Vinyl used. They actually left off content. Granted it was a Segue of roughly a minute and half in length, but to us, it is a very critical piece that is important to the flow of the album. Anyone who really knows the band's material, would know that Segues are one of our hallmarks. The one they left off is a particularly significant one that is a clear precursor to what we ultimately did with Segues on Fantastic Planet.
How this happened is anybody's guess, as the people we have spoken with so far are already pointing fingers at each other with no one willing to accept responsibility. It has nothing to do with the time restrictions of Vinyl, as there is clearly plenty of room at the end of Side A for the 1:40 Segue. This appears to be a simple case of negligence.
It is very easy for a label to get in touch with us, but even if one can't be bothered to spend the time and effort to contact the creators, and have them approve a new master before release, how hard is it to actually check the Vinyl Master against the CD or Digital version of the album, which are readily available, and as we intended, before you press up and release a 12"?
So, for the people who already bought this impostor, we're sorry you were duped. If your a collector type, maybe you'll be into this sort of thing. And for people who are thinking about buying it, we recommend that you not. At least not until they decide to put out the actual album we made.

Anybody else *not* get a shipping email yet? Said it'd ship out this week, I believe...still no emails and it says 'unfulfilled' on the site
-
So nobody knows if the new individual LPs have any kind of limited run, right?
-
I wonder if the individual ones are limited in quantities or anything...as much as I want s/t, Blue and OOTV I don't know if I should dump $125 for the three of them shipped right this instant...
-
The way this is worded seems like everything but the Red Star EP will be released individually.
that's what I'm hoping. Should that happen, though, I hope the individual ones won't be set at like $45 each
-
this kills me. As much as I've been wanting 3EB vinyl for years, I don't need all that extra crap.
I really hope they end up releasing individual LPs, though I bet they'll end up $45 each anyway
-
-
Yes, that's apparently a real thing.
Weird...but you have to expect this will end up with an LP release, huh?
-
Uh, THIS is certainly interesting...

anybody else getting server failures when trying to pay via Paypal?
-
I'm in the Ten Club and didn't get the notification email about this...wtf
-
Glad to at least hear from RFC in this thread that they still have a lot to ship...been waiting for mine for a while, and my emails have gone unreplied (presumably since they're swamped).
It's all good, I was just beginning to wonder where it was...
-
Log in to your account and view your orders...at least, seems to work for some on here....all of my requests still just show as requested with no updates yet...
Yeah, still just says "request received". It just seems like the process is moving more slowly this year than last...oh well I'll keep checking I guess
