  1. Honestly everything after that will reside in that space Adore does. How much better would Teargarden, Oceania, and Monuments have been received had Jimmy been drumming on them?

MtaE had no room for Jimmy. Tommy Lee perfomance is one of the highest points of that album and worked pretty well on getting BC focused on the core of the songs, IMHO.

  2. glad to see im not the only one that was bummed about this album. Listened to it once, and that was enough unfortunately.

    Count me in.

It's not bad, neither frustrating, even with the fact that I wasn't expecting much from it. It just feels (like most post-reunion albums) like it lacks real intensity although you can feel the commitment to bring something decent to the table. And intensity and originality represented a big deal to FNM back in the day.

I still don't think I'l end up buying it, can't see myself giving it frequent listens.

  3. Not sure if you're aware but Sway was actually mastered by Will.

I'm aware but it was produced by Jack Shirley. Just listen to both production works and you'll easily notice the big difference between them. Of course, that could always be the band searching for a different approach so it's just a matter of what kind of sound fits you better.
