I think Dine Alone's supply was very limited, 50 or so. If I remember right, they posted a limited quantity of all the Christmas variants and they sold out relatively quickly.

...why have they made a flexi single, of something already on the full live album? Or am I missing something?

Track on the flexi is from Toronto show, not Hamilton.

If anyone is going to an upcoming show and could grab an extra tour press it would be much appreciated!

There seems to have been a printing error with the sleeves, band has coloured copies on hand with special numbered sleeves. They must be waiting for replacement sleeves before shipping the standard black I guess.

I think this is an awesome release. I'm a fan of the full lengths, but I would imagine the licensing to press them would be a nightmare with all the featured artists involved.

Hippy mentioned at Riot Fest they were looking to schedule some shows. I assume that's what will be announced.

Coke bottle from Newbury arrived today. Now to wait for the inevitable Christmas/Dine Alone retail Store/Tour exclusive variants. I hope I'm wrong, as does my wallet, but I'm sure there will at least two more to come. This Dine Alone collection is getting out of hand!

Beauty bundle arrived today! Really well put together package. Makes me wish there was a sleeve designed for the Woman 12". Going to give the Northern Blues 12" a spin after dinner.

My first copy showed up today. These sleeves Dine Alone has started using are sweet! Super heavy duty. Clear with black smoke looks nice. This is great package, even the download is an actual card, not just a piece of paper with a redemption code on it. Beauty bundle should be here next week.

Dine Alone is definitely not shady. Production delays have become common place unfortunately. I just got shipping conformation for the new Yukon Blonde LP which I pre ordered in April.

The volume of material being pressed along with this bundle is pretty substantial, 10,000+ LPs, blu rays, packaging, ... And from my experience DA won't deliver a sub par product. So if there are issues that had to be addressed that unfortunately adds to the delays.

I imagine the preorder was timed to take advantage of the AOF reunion announcement. Not having these records at any of the shows this summer must have been a huge disappointment for the label, they probably could have sold a huge chunk of this pressing without issue.

As frustrating as it might be for some people to not have their records, I'm sure it's more frustrating for the label not having the product to sell/distribute and having to deal with the questions of how much longer, when they are probably asking the same questions to the pressing plants/suppliers.

The bundles will come, and they will be glorious!

hmm maybe it's just a front to scare people away but it also wouldn't make sense for them to say no to people willing to pay good money for their products. Thanks for the heads up though!

I imagine the "Canada Only" message is there for legal reasons. New Damage probably only has a limited license which restricts distribution outside of Canada. It's not that they won't sell outside of Canada, they just technically aren't supposed to. This seems to be the case when multiple labels from different countries are involved with a release.

Has anyone in Canada gotten this? My local still hasn't gotten any in and I stopped by HMV and they said they won't get them until the album ships. I was under the impression these would be on hand when the preorder is placed.

Does your sleeve have a barcode on the back? If not, it's likely one of the overruns from the box set.

I picked up a copy of Switcheroo myself yesterday for the Moneen signing. Copy I grabbed is definitely from the current pressing, has both a barcode and the DA10 year logo on the sleeve.

The reunion announcement came as no surprise. Just hope something good comes from it. Seeing as everyone except Steele is involved with other projects I don't see how Alexis will get 100% from any of the members. Show was awesome though!
