There's only 2 possible scenarios here. Either...

1) The first xxxx OSTs shipped to customers were all given orange copies, or

2) Black is the rare variant here

 

3) Black is delayed?

 

4) Boxes are marked incorrectly?

 

I saw my local store had Mondo's Halloween when I went yesterday after work.  I ordered 2 copies and 2 slipmats from Mondo, and I was a little impatient so I bought one copy from the store, and opened it in front of the clerk, and it was ORANGE!  The clerk then bought a copy and opened his and it was ORANGE as well.  What I think is happening is that the Black copies are delayed (like the new Jesu LP) and so they just started shipping the Orange so that people wouldn't get pissed like the Ghibli fiasco.  Either that or the boxes are mismarked.  Non-believers can see my Orange on instagram, user vinylmatters

Well then. It's a deal. I wanna wait for some sort of confirmation on that though. I'd hate to take everyone's money and then get there and not be able to get anything. Will they tell us info about it soon? I don't have Instagram or Twitter so I'm never up to date. If they limit people to just 2 copies then I'll need to bring a buddy.

I would definitely pay for a copy of the splatter. Obviously would pay my fair share of the entry fee and a little extra. Please put me down for one.

Anyone have any issues with the vinyl being damaged? I received mine from Robo today, and the A/B of my splatter copy has over 20 chips along the edges. I can actually see inbetween the plates.

Ouch? Maybe some of us didn't get a chance to catch the site before it crashed? Jeez...

 

I'm basing this on the fact that I've seen a few US orders popping up ALL being the splatter version and ALSO on the fact that multiple resellers in the UK are stating the Haze version.

Well, that info has been up for over a month.  Maybe you could have uncovered it during your exhaustive detective work.  

Odds are great that the 'Splatter' is the US version and the 'Haze' is the UK version

 

What are you basing this on?  The website clearly states "An edition of 700 heavy weight 180g on clear vinyl with RANDOM green, white and blue effects."  I wonder sometimes if people on here can read.
