hey! i am looking to convert my lps to mp3. i was wondering what systems/software anyone has used to do this. what usb turntables are worthwhile? i have seen some other systems that patch in between a stereo and your computer. are these any good? just looking for some tips and any experiences you guys have had before i spend some money. (i run a mac if that makes a difference, and i'm not super adept at computer stuff, though i'm not inept either) THANKS!

i'm new to the boards, and pretty new to vinyl collecting in general just wondered if you guys could give me any tips on how not to be an asshole? i'm not really sure where to get a good idea for what an album is selling for, i don't want to give ridiculously low bids for stuff, and i also don't want to screw myself by bidding too high also any etiquette i should know about thanks ahead of time
