I just got a Redeye distribution update today, and apparantly they are distro'd through them now, probably not directly, but it was weird to see his gaping pussy hole of a label listed in there.

Yeah, I am just going to go ahead and get like 20 of em if I can get that many. And whoever wanted one can E mail me in a week or so whenever I get em. I'm going to try to stock this our site. I don't do a distro anymore, but seems like hardly anyone else has this.

I know there was a thread on this a while back, I tried to search but couldn't find it.. Anyway, I was looking through one of our distributor catalogs, and they have this in stock. If there is a bunch of people that want this, I can place an order and get em. I would have to get 10 or more. It's expensive. 6 bucks wholesale before shipping. So essentially it would be around 8 bucks a person if you wanted it. It might be cheaper if I talk to em about it, or maybe do a trade. Has anyone found it anywhere else? Or is it still fairly difficult to track down?

Yeah I'm a big Continental fan, I would try to pick em up if they weren't already with a decent label. Also the Ashers LP will be out in March. Test are approved, inserts and jackets at the plant etc. Should have the whole thing in hand in a couple weeks. The trans blue is pre-order only, and will be up for pre-order in mid Feb for early March delivery We have a new vinyl export distributor, everything from hear out should be available in just about every record store that carries punk rock worldwide.

Finally getting material from both bands for a Pinkerton Thugs/Continental (Rick Barton ex dropkick, street dogs etc) split 7" that will probably be out in March. Pinkerton Thugs are also in the process of recording their new album which will be out in June, and a repress of "The Pain and The Pinkerton Thugs" will be out in April. The two different labels thing, I had to do that for a while to get out of a crappy distribution deal. I wanted to move my vinyl to a different distributor so I started a seperate label for vinyl releases. It's over now, although all the vinyl has SNA catalog numbers, and both logos. But stuff like that happens sometimes, if a label is trying use different exclusive distributors. Pretty sure that's not the case here, but my 2 cents...

They probably have no idea. the BBB isn't necessarily the consumer advocacy group that some people think. The only thing the BBB is good for is hiding complaints, and making bad business look good. the BBB is probably the worst possible place anyone could actually complain about a business. MTS is probably getting phone calls and E mails by the BBB trying to sell them an A rating.

Any startup label that is conceded and as self reverent enough to refer to themselves as "CEO's" "president" "A&R" and all that stupid shit, is enough of an excuse for me to completely ignore them. This label is like a make believe childrens game. I'll play the CEO, you play the A&R and Artist manager. I welcome this labels demise, and every label like them. If that's directed towards me, I'm not stoked about the delay, nor am I happy about it. But getting all angry about it isn't going to accomplish anything. If you put out records for bands I knew or cared about, I'd definitely buy a record off your label and wouldn't care if it was a month late. It comes when it comes. Not sure if it was directed toward you? Just people in general that defend them to the death. As far as Blink 182 and Jailhouse releases, anyone can licence a record, it takes perserverence and getting your hands dirty, to put out stuff that isn't top 40 pop punk. I'm not scared to be poor, especially if it means I get to release whatever the hell I want because of the pure love of music. Again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with licencing releases now and then, but becoming a label that is widely known for doing only that, and rehashing stuff that is already in every record store in the world and has been on billboard top ten charts is lame. Re-releasing some out of print stuff, or stuff that is hard to find. That makes sense. Not sure what the comment of "Jailhouse Records>>>MTS just sayin" means. I really have no idea. Computer lingo confuses me. But most people on here hate me and the releases we put out. So whatever people say about me on here, certainly doesn't hurt my feelings. This place used to be pretty decent when I first got on the board. It was simply a bunch of record collectors nerding out over records, it was cool. It's turned into nothing more than a marketing tool for a select handful of re-issue labels with cool jpg vinyl packages of rehashed music that just came out this decade. I wish it was the 80's or 90's again. Get off my lawn!
