  1. '>http://www.ampmagazine.com/18340/the-scarred-stream-track-by-track-breakdown-of-their-new-album-live-fast-die-poor/ An extremely detailed track by track review of The Scarred's new album 'Live Fast, Die Poor' including 6 streaming tracks from the new record. If you haven't heard the record, or reference them from their punkcore days, you'll be in for a suprise.
  2. What's your name that you gave and I'll let you know or just e mail me [email protected] and I will let you know if yours left or not.
  3. err, I think I'd be more comfortable sticking bamboo chutes in my fingernails.
  4. Whiny entitled bitches in this thread. Saw this at my local HT. Hopefully picking this up soon. Thanks for releasing this guys. Was just about to say the same thing. Justin and Matt are two of the most sincere guys I've met. I don't know them well, but I know they have a passion for music, and their label "business" runs just like most do. More of an expensive hobby, than rollin in the cash. I'm glad I put out stuff that most people on here don't care about.
  5. Cd is available for pre-order now, for shipping in about 2 weeks. LP got delayed to November. Both formats are a tad bit different as far as tracks. Anyway, cd is in hand now. This contains original mixes from their days before punkcore. Punkcore for some reason re-mastered some tracks and made em sound really bad. These are from the OG German mixes. Street Date is Oct 18th, direct pre-orders, ship a month early. http://jailhouserecords.storenvy.com/pro....re-street-dat e Ashers: Kill Your Master LP, will finally be out in November as well. Anyone who ordered the AGT or Scarred records, they have all been shipped, every single one of em. The hurricane delayed things for about a week, as we had no power or internet access. I think almost everyone has already recieved those. I only had about 12 that were delayed because of power/no post office. Shop Radio Cast and most other retailers have copies of A Global Threat ,The Scarred, and the Defiance/Scarred split 7" as well. Check out our 3 7's for 5 bucks sale also. Defiance track here http://www.jailhouserecords.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/01-No-Future-No-Hope.mp3 low bitrate mp3 download
  6. all pre-orders except for 6 were sent out. The hurricane decided to do a number on my street, we just got power back on last night. I tried to make sure everyone knew that orders were running at least a week behind because of the damage and loss of power, mail services etc. http://www.jailhouserecords.com/site/ http://vinylcollective.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65243 The rest of the orders are going out tommorow
  7. From Jailhouse Records in the last week or so. I lost power completely from the hurricane, it's not scheduled to be back on for at least a week. Any orders are at least a week behind. Sorry Sorry to post this on here, I'm posting this wherever people can see it. I have like 10 minutes of internet access this morning, I don't a have fancy internet phone. I'm poor.
  8. I don't really care about pressing numbers, but that is fucked up of a place to advertise something false like that. Everybody knows limited numbers sell quicker and for more, a lot of labels press more than they claim
  9. Around 200 on red, we are sold out directly for the first press. Hit up Interpunk, SRC, or most brick and mortar stores, Newburry, ZIA, Bullmoose etc etc. They all have at least a couple copies for Sept 13th. The new press is going to look sick! Grey swirl, on heavy wax, 300. Here is the poster insert 12x18 http://www.jailhouserecords.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/POSTERagt3.pdf Other side has lyrics and band pics from the 2000-2004 era Here's one of the new remix/remastered tracks http://www.jailhouserecords.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Track-14.mp3
  10. yesir, all have shipped but a very small handful, literally like 3-4 that are going out tommorow, all the others started shipping last week through yesterday. 1st pressing is sold out directly, from pre-orders. SRC, Interpunk, and my distributor NAIL, and Ebullition have some copies of the 1st press for the Sept 13th release date, and most brick and mortar punk oriented record stores will have em in stock. I don't think it's available (or shouldn't be) available anywhere except Interpunk until Sept 13th. And a repress should be here by early to mid Sept, on grey swirl vinyl. OI!
  11. They have some of the A Global Threat records that are out of print now. We sold out of the 'Until We Die' first press which was 200gram black and, red vinyl. Some brick and mortar stores will have the 1st press in stock for the Sept 13th release date, and Interpunk has a few. But for direct sale/pre-order we are all out. Second press is on it's way and should be here by mid Sept, on Grey swirl vinyl /300.
  12. You are buying ONE Booster pack. Inside your Booster Pack you will find one copy of Half Hearted Hero's version of Vanessa Carlton's Smash Hit "A Thousand Miles". These are completely random and blind packaged meaning you won't know what you get till you open it! If your looking for the super rare stuff, I suggest taking your chances with a Booster Box. Complete Pressing Info - Black w/ Streaks - 51 Not Orange - 36 Pink - 36 Yellow - 26 White - 24 Green - 19 Purple - 14 Dirty White - 11 White W/ Pink - 8 Solid Black - 8 Orange -7 Fantasia Elephants - 3 Ghastly - 3 Not Salmon - 2 Salmon -2 Purple Puke - 2 Silver Sneakers - 2 Sunburst - 1 Starburst - 1 Dragon Force - 1 Avocado - 1 Not See Through Green - 1 Rainy Cloud - 1 TMNT - 1 Test - 15 Always a trip, when people order the URP random vinyl specials, and come up with witty ass names for each crappy looking color variant. It's just random ass, regrind, cheap looking and sounding vinyl. Nothing special about it. Same thing with the Re-inventing Axl Rose record. A million variants all based on either Erika or URP random scrap vinyl. But hell, I'd do it too I guess if wacky names make the /5 or whatever variants sell for gobs of money. Also, 15 test pressings!? Thread is Gay
  13. You mean Fenix TX? Still working on paying licencing and pirates press, and hiring a staff to mail em Hit me up on facebook man, we need to do some trades if your interested, not sure if your interested in my hardcore devil music, but will trade for your dated ska music Seriously though, congrats on some great records coming out man! Stoked.
  14. Shipping this Tues, 3 weeks before street date. Interpunkhttp://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=194605 http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=194603
  15. can't use other peoples pictures on your listings dawg. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/image-text.html ahh, makes sense. I've got to be one of the only vinyl heads that has never used E bay. Always worried about getting scammed or something.
  16. LOl, i dont think that guys even got his yet. I mailed it out like 2 days ago and pretty sure thats my pic..Gonna report em Report him for what? Using your pic? I've never used E bay, but it seems like you should be able to sell anything you want unless it's a bootleg or something?
  17. Yeah, it's not like anyone wanted any of those releases. She's absolutely right though, except with Mightier Than Sword, I don't personally like the re-issues they do, but they do put out releases that there is at least a demand for. Stuff like the Enjoy The Ride crap, and Tooth and Nail represses etc, are just totally unnecessary. Within this message board, there is an odd group of people that buy really bad music, 99% of which are represses. A small label can exist solely from sales to people on VC. I'd be willing to bet around 70% of Enjoy The Rides records are sold via VC. Pretty much anything that is dated poppy, generic punk sells like crack within this message board and nowhere else. Most of these re-issue labels don't even have distribution, because 1. they can sell a full 500 pressing by catering to the majority of bad taste's on this board. 2. They probably can't get a distro contract since they own no masters, and 3. The records are not anything that would have mass appeal. Press it on a couple different colors, and people on here collect em all! Put em in a three pack, charge extra for vanity crap, and a label can recoup on here pretty damn quick, not to mention people are always defending high priced records. I'm sure FAT even makes a very decent chunk of change from this board alone.

  19. Here's a hint... The next will be a repress of a late 90's or early 00's major label (or equivalent) band, with multiple Pirates Press color(ways) with a large test pressing run. If you want a lyric sheet it will only be available if you buy a 3 of the same record on three different colors (package deal). Get stoked!
  20. I agree on they essentially become a variant type thing. It's a weird phenomenon...and people buy em! A test press is to listen to to OK the sound of the pressing. You don't need a shit ton of tests, and I know you people don't listen to every copy either which is funny heh It's become an easy and quick way for a label to make bank. With the amount of test pressings that this place sells. They get the 3-4 test, and then just order 20 more to arrive with the pressing. Plants used to have a limit on the amount of test pressings, or would charge a lot more for em, nowdays they simply the same cost as the record. In a few years test pressings from the 00's are going to be worth nothing, way too many of em around.
  21. you order a million test pressings and sell em for stupid amounts of money. I don't see too much of a difference between you guys and any record flipper. Your test presses are essentially just a variant. They're not used for their proper function or to give to certain people, you order a bunch extra to flip. Do people realize that test pressings cost between 90 cents-2.00 a piece?
  22. For pre-order Ships in less than 2 weeks http://jailhouserecords.storenvy.com/products/101618-a-global-threat-until-we-die-lp-pre-order-now
  23. http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=194605 http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=194603 Shipping early from Interpunk on August 23rd Available everywhere else on Sept 13th
  24. I understand the mentality, but it still blows my mind why any new label at all starts with some massive undertaking, paying expensive licencing fees etc. dude could have saved up 800 bucks or so, put out a good 7" by a good band, and start to establish himself slowly. People like this completely ruin the whole point of having a label. These type things go on every single day now it seems, people without a single clue on how to do anything related to music/marketing, and even a very very basic understanding of how to not completely lose your ass. The money this thing is costing this guy could buy him a sweet ass new car!, Or a fairly decent down payment on a house. This stuff is almost comical. I wish people would donate 20,000 to me, I could crank out a good 12 or so releases.
  25. 12x18, flipside has lyrics. Here is the remastered title track for download. http://www.jailhouserecords.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Track-14.mp3 Plant is backed up all to hell, I was hoping the final pre-order copies would be shipping this month, but it looks like early August, not bad, just a couple weeks delay. Everything is in, just waiting on the final press, hopefully it will be this month. Stoked! 200 gram black vinyl, and Red w/Black haze
