  1. You always feel loads better for weeks afterwards. Unless you keep fucking crying which is what happens to me usually when I finally break down.

I'm hoping it was a one-time thing, but the way I've been feeling recently, it might just be the first of many. Still, it did feel really good after the fact.

  2. I'm being let go from my job on the 30th (which also happens to be my birthday; what a great B-day present, right?), and as of right now, I have nothing lined up after that. I have enough left in my savings to keep me going for about a month, maybe two if I starve myself, but that's it. In honor of this momentous occasion, I'm selling some of the rarer records in my collection to keep my head above the water until I'm gainfully employed. Or until I win the lottery, whichever comes first.

Now that that's out of the way, time for some ground rules: Since I have a very limited number of mailers, I'll list one record at a time, and will accept offers for a few days. Best offer gets the record. Serious offers only, no trades. PayPal only; no gifting, buyer pays fees. International offers will be considered, if the price is right (offer in USD, please).

Also, please don't offer if you have less than 100 posts or two positive feedback scores as a buyer, or a decent amount of feedback from another site. With the influx of new people from the RSD frenzy, I want to make sure I'm doing business with a reputable buyer.

    Pretty straightforward, right?

    ------------

This time, it's my copy of The Devil Wears Prada - With Roots Above and Branches Below on purple vinyl! Played two, maybe three times total. Both sides and the bottom of the inner sleeve have been split, but from what I gather, that isn't uncommon with this particular album and the record still stays inside. The outer sleeve is in very good condition, with minor shelf wear.

I'm gonna take offers on this until next Monday (May 4) at midnight EST. Also, I can post a picture or two if y'all want to see. Only reason I didn't already is because I...well, I didn't think about it before updating the post, honestly.

  3. I just read an article about how the limited edition Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection went on sale today and sold out almost instantly nationwide. People waited in line for hours before stores opened. Plenty of people were able to get what they wanted and are happy with their hauls, but a ton of items have been put up on eBay, new with tags, for ridiculously over-inflated prices. So many people are thoroughly pissed off because they wanted to buy those clothes/accessories to legitimately enjoy, but are instead either forced by a select few jackoffs into the secondhand market to overspend on that dress or purse they've been wanting for weeks, maybe even months, or just walk away, disappointed and with nothing.

    The parallels, right?

  4. Woke up at 2:30pm. Decided to see what all Wuxtry had left, wasn't expecting much. Got there at 3pm. Saw a single copy of Oneohtrix Point Never - Commissions II, walked out with it. Spent a grand total of $15. Best and cheapest RSD to date.

They also had both Shugo Tokumaru albums, but I'm broke as hell and I know they'll probably still have them for a few weeks.

  5. Even though I can't afford to get everything I had on my list, I think I'll go to Wuxtry whenever I get around to leaving my apartment this afternoon just to see what they have left. If by some miracle they still have OPN's Commissions II, I'll probably get it, but if they don't, I can always just grab a copy online in the near future.

  6. I am hoping they post their number of the limited records this evening. I'm planning on going tomorrow morning around 6am. Are you getting there early or anything?

Nah, I can't afford RSD this year. But they did post a bunch of the releases they got this year on their Instagram, including a pic of all five copies they received out of the 100 they ordered.

I would really hate to be a BN fan in a few hours, that's all I'm saying.

  7. Since you plan on going early and getting stuff for other people, what is it that you unfortunately cannot do on RSD this year? I'm genuinely confused :)

Late reply, but I'm losing my job at the end of the month, and don't have enough spare cash to afford much more than rent and bills. It's more of a money thing than a schedule conflict.

  8. Welp, as it turns out, I won't be able to do RSD this year. I might actually still go early and get in line, and just help people get the stuff they want when the store opens. Would that be a douche move of me, or nah?

Thank god the only things I really wanted will be relatively easy to find for a decent price after this weekend.
