I always tip at a sit-down place. As long as they don't ignore me/be an asshole I will give them 20% or more, depending how much I have. Never less than that though. The few times I have done carry-out I have not tipped, and now feel bad for not doing so.

the manager was the one there today. Good guy. Apparently some dude from Brooklyn set 3 aside and bought them all. They got one in yesterday (mine) Was it the indie looking dude with the side comb and beard? if so I had class with him and he is into wax and he was probably trying to score it himself.

I think he pays for records he wants and then records he is looking to resale he scams for a prays that they send it before he pays. Food for thought.

 I think you could be right. He bought three records yesterday for a total of over $70 but couldn't pay for the two he won from me which total $35.

the only time I've had success was selling a phone. Met in a public place and he paid with cash no problem. Before I sold my Xbox 360 (Slim 4GB, which is new $200 refurb $150) last week to a kid I know, I had it up on CL. I got offers for $40-75 for it. One person said, "I am trying to give a Xbox to a kid in need would u do 60?". I mean some people are ridiculous. I have an N64 up there now, got a reasonable offer and the guy wanted me to drive an hour and wouldn't pay me any extra for driving there, so I said hell no. I don't understand how so many people seem to have such luck (outside of you guys hahah).

I just read this thread... I didn't know this dudes history but I sold to him a few weeks ago and didn't have any problems. Maybe he's turned a new leaf?
